Im new here, and wanted your opinion on what motor you would think is best for my car. I have a 98 EJ6 hatchback, and wanted to set it up for track racing, but i would still like enough power to hang with my friends on the highway. If money wasn't an option, which motor would you swap in?

ya, a k20 would be nice, and eventually i could afford it but that would take a while haha... i was thinking about trying to get a ctr or itr motor, but on the websites iv found them, the b16b is around 3 grand, a b18c5 is around 4 grand, and the k20a (type r) is like 5300... so i think it might be worth it to just save up the extra grand and get the k series

i wish, does anyone know any good websites that would have a good selection of motors for a decent price?

If money wasn't and issue, I'd buy an NSXR.

You could try ebay for engines. Just check the sellers feedback to make sure the company is legit.

an nsx-r would be quite nice, and if money wasnt a complete option that would be a top pick, however, for me at least, that is not a smart choice because of insurance, my insurance would "****" me

Dont use ebay. you'd have to be crazy to by an engine from there. since your in jersey go with Hmotorsonline.com They are Number 1 when it some to selecting and buy honda engines. there Custumer service is great. They know everything there is to know about honda engines. and ALL there engine come in perfect condition. Also best prices around with a 100% start up warrenty.
