Then came the college years, with the first CRX that made me even more loved that brand. I always say that when I can, my first car will be a .... honda!
18, driving licence in hand but penniless (student times), I get hold of Mom's car: a small Opel GT. Finally, GT, is saying a lot, especially when you know that this is a valiant 85-hp 1.3l. Anyway, I did not need more, especially because I had to do my apprenticeship .
First "official" job : I go in search of my Honda. It's already that time of the first EK4 and other DC2 ph1. How time flies. At the used cars center, I see it is there as I imagined: EK4 magnum gray, aluminum rims OEM, 55k km, freshly painted. Neither one nor two, I ask the seller if I can try it! It makes me wait a few minutes (aaarrgh), he finally takes the keys and we start for a walk. By the time the engine warms up slowly, and go: jump on 2nd-3rd gear! My god what the VTEC melody is beautiful! Back to the auto center, the affair is concluded. It gives me appointment for the following week, the time to do a little cleaning. Re-aaarrgh i've never seen one so long week ! Finally, the awaited day has arrived. It is mine since March 14, 2002. I have since travelled 165k km at its wheel, and I still enjoy the drive. Some cosmetic changes and mechanical match my tastes have been made, I'll introduce in more detail in the appropriate forum section.
