New EK9 :)

Hey there

I just bought an EK9 a few weeks ago and love it already. I got it completely standard and is a fresh import to the UK. My mate has already under sealed it for me and the next job will be to replace the timing belt. I also need to replace the rear tyres and need a set of front brake pads. Other than that i think its all good :) I'm needing to get an alarm fitted as well. Too many stories of hondas getting stolen :( What sort of systems should I be looking at? I don't really know much about this sort of thing. What have you guys fitted to yours? Any help would be good. Once i've got all that sorted i'd love to get an exhaust and get it lowered. Might take a while to get round to that though. Will probably spend a small fortune getting an alarm and everythin sorted :(

oryt son hahaha , i would like a name put in martin and full message of thanks for me undersealing your car hahaha jus kiddin, i was quite happy with how my undersealing job turned out looks more mint underneath than when i dod my jordan :(

haha thanks Dan. Anyone needing help with waxoyling their car, Jordan 101 is the guy.
 
welcome, looks clean, love yellow facelifts, props recommend a cobra alarm had it on my old ek done the job.
 
Thanks guys. I was looking for a championship white one to start with, but i came across this one and just loved it :)
 
i will correct you again sid, i brushed the arches in as well as the bushes, struts etc and spray gunned the rest of the underneath of the car it gets you a far more accurate finishe as with the spray gun it doesnt let u catch everywhere ;)

so you finally got one then.... and yellow, tut tut not impressed mate lol, not gonna have mine much longer anyway, congrats on the car anyway good luck with it.

Cheers mate. Yeh took me a while but finally got one :) Sorry to get a yellow one too mate, didn't mean to copy. Just loved it when i went to see it. Why you gonna sell yours?

well there is yours and 1 in ayr so thats 3 now so time for a change soon, got the yellow to be different and setting a bloody trend as i did with the white one :p Got a contact in japan now so going to start importing cars over from him and get myself something sweet in the process. Think you should take my manifold at mates rates :D lol, will be returning it to standard soon to sell anyway.
 
Welcome to the forum bud , Cant believe there another Yellow Ek9 in Glasgow . Given the rarity of EK9 let alone Yellow ones Lol
 
a clifford alarm with proxy sensor and anti hijack is the only way to go.. your car is worth it!!

oh man yours was the only one i knew about. Sorry mate :( genuinely didn't set out to copy you. Was just having trouble finding a mint white ek9 and being around all those jordan's the yellow has just grown on me lol Importing cars of your own sounds good. I'm sure you'd find something nice for yourself. What were you thinking of importing, just honda's or other cars aswell? Don't think i can afford any parts just now but if you don't manage to sell it or take anything else off the car let me know. Might be interested:)

Yeah i know. Don't have to go far to find a yellow civic around glasgow, with the jordans and ek9's about lol

ha na not to worry been thinking bout getting into importing for a while and now have all the contacts and knowledge i need so im gonna go for it and i'll keep it a surprise my 1st wee belter im looking at haha :p

x2! I have this on my ek9 and its immense, had no probs with it in 2 years! has intelli start, the lot!:nice:
