Ok, I got these replicas that were made from Taiwan, they're pretty good for the money you pay, but can't compare to what you can get in the US :(

These came up weighing 5kgs lighter than my stock bonnet. Weight of my CF bonnet is 9.8kgs...

oh dont worry there is A LOT of china/taiwan carbon hoods in usa too, the good ones cost about $450 usd with the cheaper ones being about 300.

if you want to be different keep the emblem, but i think it looks A LOT better without it :nice:

bump for price and where you bought it from.

heard some bad reviews about the copies that the fitment isnt always that good? you have any problems?

neither do I. just say what the damn hell u mean. not all thiss bump bump mumbo jumbo

Replicas never fit that good and need a lot of adjustments by losening the latches. As far as the surface smoothness, it is very good. The CF weaving is just ok, just some minor shifts but not noticable...

I got it from some random Asian auto shop that happended to stock one. Was just lucky I guess. If you were to ask me would I pay big $$$ for a SPOON one over this then I would say 20% chance, because I can get 2 of these for the same price as 1 SPOON CF bonnet. :nice:
Price was $660AUD

Blinx: I also thought that it looked better without the badge, and it looked a lot cleaner... :( Is there any safe way to remove the badge? I tried taking it off right after I installed it because I thought, man that doensn't look good.

BUMP stands for Bringing Up My Post. Which is perfectly acceptable.

Nice hood. I removed my emblem for a while before putting it back on, as I felt that the car has lost a bit of its identity without the red H. :)
