My Plan for my Car


FYI: Rota's aren't the expensive JDM part you think it is. Rota is Malaysian and Rota's are knock offs from other big brands. Doesn't mean they're bad wheels though: they have the looks from some really nice wheel brands and they're still reasonably light weight for a nice price.

If those wheels you want to buy are Rota knock offs, then you're buying knockoffs of knockoffs of some original brand.

Ohh i thought ROTA's were the orig. ones haha sorry i'm new to this. Well yeah i think ROTA's are like $300-400 a Pop and the Drag's are $105 a Pop and they look the same and i've heard good things about them my friend that has an EP3 have drags and he said its the same look and stuff.
 
Might be the same look, probably softer metal and higher weight. But I can't really believe Rota's are that much ?? 300-400 bucks a wheel is more the price of the original wheels. Rota are more like half of that.

Tires are more important than a set of bling JDM wheels. Rotas will do the job just fine.


Good luck on the project. One piece of advice, ditch the automatic. Trust me
 
Can anyone tell me if the Rear and Front Bumpers on my car will fit the Type R Lips?

Also JayTee, I'm planning on just keeping it an automatic for now i don't have that much cash right now.

Rota is the trade name of Philippine Aluminium Wheels Inc. Rota is one of the largest wheel manufacturers in the world and makes rims for virtually all major auto manufacturers including Toyota and Honda. Rota is also the actual manufacturer of several supposedly JDM brands like Enkei.

since your buying your Lip for Ebay they have a lot of really ugly replica front type r lip so make sure you buy the one that is close to the real one not the one that sticks out forward. also about the back lip they all look the same so yea just make sure its for a hatchback and not a the coupe because the back bumper are different.
