Right, so been thinking about changing the exhaust for a while, as it was an N/A system, so got it done by Top Gear in Leeds (Tony Banks)

So, popped down this afternoon, and took 3-4 hours for a Turbo Back 3" System, with a Silencer and my 3" 5zigen (from a Subaru)

Can, seriously notice a MAHOOOSIVE difference :)

This look so much better with the white wheels...nice work! :nice:

Car looks good. Miss the GTI-R I had, sounded mean as use to pop and bang when I had it tuned up. Good work White wheels suit.

i dont get the rear arb bits. its sitting on the tersion beam. how does it work?

You see that corrolla with the scooby front end, does that now have a strlet turbo lump in it now?

Nice Almera mate, their awesome cars!!

The torsion beam......

Almera's aren't like Civic's with independent rear suspension they have a torsion beam like the fords, peugeots, citroens....etc which means they dont come with a rear ARB from factory, from what i remember from my Starlet GT Turbo which had a torsion beam, under hard cornering especially bumpy corners it would wiggle from side to side slightly......whiteline makes this kit though to stop this, the links basically connect up to or near the suspension area and onto the chassis if i remember rightly, it then stops side to side movement in the torsion bar by clamping it all up. Its basically a kit to adapt to fit a rear ARB on them and make the torsion bar more stable in other words lol.

They make one for the Starlet turbo's as well, i never got around to fitting one to mine though :( same principle though.

fitted a whiteline rear ARB on my starlet, one of the best mods I did.

Nice looking Almera mate, lovely spray job and must be fooking rapid!!! My brother "Zeninblackgti" on the AOC forum probably knows you as he drives a black Almera GTi also and has been a member for a few years!

Really nice car! My mate has a pulsar vzr, great car! Shame you had to break it! :(
