My new ek9 accident, gutted!


If you have not got a witness she can just say she was all ready passing the bus and you drove into her. I think there is a strong chance it will go 50/50.

but if she pulled out over a solid white line its defo her fault as she shoudl of just waited for the bus,, do you have photos of her car and teh bus all in their places after teh collision happened?
 
nah mate, only have pics of my car posted up she moved her car pretty quick after it happened. and the bus buggered off.
 
they all broke the law, its illegal to leave the scene of an accident...
 
Sorry to hear it m8, I think its 50/50 if they write that off. my car got wrote of with same kind of damage (but mine was a 1.4 ek) but it was for total loss reasons, cat D. i.e the damage costs more than the car to repair. But if they do decide that theres a bright side because you can buy it back. Get paid out for the car by her insurance if she's found to be liable which she should judging by those photos, and then buy the car back from your insurance for pennies (I got paid £3000 for mine and bought it back for £550) repaired it myself, got it all checked over and put it back on the road. I know you would much rather it spanking but it would be a shame if they took such a car off the road for good! best of luck dude...
 
If the idiot went over a solid white line she's broken the law and had an accident by doing so. Am sure your insurers will feel the same way you got all the woman and bus' details rite? If not i'd go to a lawyer and see if you can sue the bitch!:blinx:
 
My ek had very similar damage done! It will hardly be a right off! Door looks fine! Only a few parts needed i would think judging by the photos! Was there and damage to the chassis leg? I wouldn't think and certainly hope it isn't a right off! Goodluck Bud
 
If you took photos of the scene i would say that will help your case from what i can see in the photo there is a solid white line on her side of the road...but hard to comment on as wasnt there at the time,hope you get it sorted out mate i very much doubt it will be a write off

Of course it'l go 50/50 because we're young males who drive too fast in our honda civic's! Thats what everyone says and thinks! Its not right! Such a shame a truly beautiful car!

She still shouldn't have been passing the white line :mad:
 
from the pictures you can clearly see that the crash happened in exactly the same place as the picture is showing and it's obvious that her car was on the wrong lane! She cant deny it...
dont worry im sure you won't be liable for it!

but write off? i don't know!
 
the car looks fixable.

what people do here with that damage is they buy a 'nose cut' (where everything in front of the wheel arc is intact) and just weld a new nose into the frame, along with the bumpers headlights radiator etc etc... then they would just buy a fender and maybe some suspension bits that got damaged.. I'm just hoping the strut towers aren't damaged in your car..
