My new 2001 DC2 ITR 57,000kms

Hi all!

Bought another Type R.

2001 DC2 AUDM spec ITR
57,000kms
Championship white
Fully Stock Standard.

This one is from my friend who has kepted this baby in factory condition. I have never ever seen anything cleaner than this. I think he polishes it everytime after he drives it.
Wait for more photos with better camera.

The engine bay looks the same as a new car AND I MEAN NEW, every single corner, part, connections, hoses, bolts, components, pipes, battery, header plate etc etc etc is NEW. I don't know how the heck did it stayed this new. And the interior is still damn new and smells new. I know this is exagerating but you have to see it to believe it.

It was soooooo hard for him to let it go but he needed the money. I told him don't worry atleast it's me whos looking after it. That made him feel better...

This car is actually for my fiancee, who will be learning to drive manual, she has always had her eyes on this car, especially when my friend first bought it and brought it over to show us...she told me she was very jealous. lol So for the time being..... I'll be driving as a weekend car Don't want to drive it much either as there isn't any other ITR as new as this. There isn't even 1 small chip on the wheels. Makes my EK9 look old even after the repray and especially the interior... lol I can't believe it's still got the new car smell.

As you can also see, the paint is amazing! Same as my resprayed EK9 even after 6-7 years!! And check out the Brake calipers.... like NEW! This is freaky...

Picking it up next week, so more photos then. I won't be modifying it and leaving it stock bone stock. Well.....depends on my fiancee.....

I'm very very very happy with the purchase and wouldn't buy any other car for that condition

looks the same spec as uk teg type r,if its that clean you can imagine how clean my 9 is with only 34000 km on the clock lol,nearly half the mileage thats on this teg.

I'll post some pics soon in details with close up mode. Every part of the engine is as clean as my bros 2007 FN2 CTR. My friend is a fanatic! lol

My 9 has 45,000kms on the clock but it aint genuine kms. lol

yes, it's my younger bros UKDM FN2 CTR. I personally don't think it deserves the Type R badge. lol
We do have another nice 2001 honda, but only wished it was a type R.

I've never smelt a new DC2 ITR interior before...but this is as new as it gets... possibly the cleanest DC2 ITR in the world, especially the engine and engine bay/accessories.

too bad it's not JDM... I wish it was

Thanks man, I've just took some pics this morning with ek9 etc. will be posting it maybe tonight or tomorow night.

The feeling of DC2R is just pure RACING. No doubt... It's more noisy than the EK9 and you can hear more engine when you accelerate. I thought EK9 was noisy but this, you can hear everything and feel everything thats going on.

I've only driven it once since I've got it 10 days ago. Just been so busy at work.

We've just picked up another DC5 type R 2003 model. One day before picking up the dc2. This one only done 46000kms and is also Championship white. All stock standard. Fiancee's car... lol... DC2R is just too rough. So pics of this will be up too.

oh, I forgot to mention that the B16B sounds better than B18C... B16B just has more deeper note compared to B18C. Stock for stock and mod for mod.
