Few pictures of my fully re built mk1, I know there's a few vw fans on here,

Here's a picture of it finished after a quick wash and a few more showing attention to detail underneath etc,

Yeah a 20v would make it shift, it really doesn't weigh a lot,

The original plan was to build a mildly tuned 1.8 8v as I already have a nice cam and webber 40's to go on,

I have people wanting to buy it off me though so it may be going

Looks class mate really high standard on it , mint on the grey g60s aswell . Only thing I would do is get the original bed in it .

At the time of doing it original beds were not available, typically they are now,
It's re-inforced underneath so strength is not an issue,

Only thing that ever goes in it is my pushbike

theres only one engine for me and it begins with a v and ends in a 6 loved my mk3 pitty it went to heaven but the engine lives on in a mk1

Lots of people seem to love the vr6 idea,

For me I'd rather have a built 2l 16v on itb's

IM with you on the 2l seeing as the vr6 is a heavy lump and more of a touring engine, mate had one in a mk3 golf sounded good but never felt really quick

Yep that's my thoughts exactly on the vr6 engines, they destroy the already not overly great handling also

Very very clean drop an s3 engine in and have a sleeper mates got a mint mk1 with s3 engine spins 1st 2nd and 3rd very quick
