Nah mate get them removed and painted. Looks cleaner and flush.

The 2 small ones are easy to remove. Then onced you have taken ages to remove one side and now know what you are doing, makes the other side simple.

Best thing is just being able to push them back on after painted looks million times better.
 
Well Tried to spray bump strips, experimented on a lil one first, took me 20 mins to fish the clips out of thr wing hah, color match was **** again :/ its too bright :L any other car colors similare to Milano red?
 
fitted wind deflectors today, will get pics up tomoz
 
few lil updates, manages to clean and paint some things today,

painted the steelies gloss black while i wait for some alloys, as the paint was flaking off the wheel trims :L

What colour blue is that on the brackets? Bump strip looks a lot better colour coded now just finish off the rest. Good polish after to shine the old paint up and blend in better. Its coming along.
 
not a clue what paint, my dad "borrowed" it from work lol
think im getting a machine polisher for christmas, so will give it a good going over

dark and cold plus i had to go to work, didnt get much done, just finished painting the steelies, as you can see the experimented side strip doesnt quite match (even on the snazzy phone camera effect lol)

car looks pink in photos, phone camera is a bit pants :L

also removed the H badge and sprayed it gloss black with a red pearly tint, no pics forgot to take some, will get some tomorrow when its finished drying.
 
Nice car you got there mate! Also got an EJ9 but at that low miles thats a steal! Mines is a 2000 and has 90k on the clock and still runs like a dream, my car has been in the family for 7years and thats me eventually got it!

thanks guys, got so much to do, but have no time with work / college (in january)
currently debating on what color to do brake calipers, red or gold? will be getting black or maybe white wheels, and also which (budget yes budget lol) coilovers to get.. hot tuning?

ordered various stickers and a cat back exhaust system :D
 
Use autoglym tar or adhensive remover to get rid of the glue. Its in halfords costs £5.50 for a bottle i think. Never tried it myself yet but has good reviews.
 
aye its not like the other side, where as it was the usual sticky stuff, this looks like proper super glue :(
