Modified ek9 gearbox,spoon lsd,4.785 fd etc

Heard back from Orangeball via email this morning, when the box was overhauled everything was replaced except for the 5th counter gear, its all new bearings, new synchro's,shift fork replaced etc etc everything was replaced.
They answered my email in english and would confirm this for anyone interested.

will take £800 for this and will throw in an RG (JAPAN) lightened flywheel with 3000 miles use aswell.
Bear in mind this box is practically as new as well as having the fd and diff fitted.

Quality box at the right price, nice addition to your motor Steven :naughty:

Early finish from work so fitted this yesterday

Exaclty as described, the shifts feel silky smooth and tight, Orange Ball did good :naughty:

The diff........ BONKERS, haha will take some getting used to, can even feel my inner wheel skipping when pulling out my driveway :nerv:

Cheers again Dave :)

Great Steven, glad it went to you in the end mate i know you'll put it to good use :nice:,how do you find the gearing?

Change from 2-3 does seem a bit shorter and the car picks up better in whatever gear

5th you notice the biggest difference, revs don't drop much from 4-5 and you can actually keep accelerating haha

Get some funky looks when driving about town/trying to park with the diff, klunk klunk klunk

See between your cluch and your diff...your car sounds ****ed haha! But in a good way

Man your car just keeps gettin better!!!! As Dunsy said, to anyone not knowing cars they must think your cars ****ed :nice: !!

Be interested to see this video.....you think it will start to annoy you for everyday driving thou??

is this stock ek4 gearing with 4.7fd or odd gear been changed for oem itr ?

It's originally a S4C ek9 box

Fitted with a 4.785 FD

Some gears changed to 98 spec to retain length to the gearing, 5th is a fair bit shorter being oem ek9 with the different FD, feels super with vtec coming in at 5k with the spoon ecu, not too short for road use but spot on

I can only get 80ish in 5th before vtec comes in
