Finally got the 282's on in place of the 262's. The difference is unreal and im yet to get the braided lines on the back and put my 1" DC2 Master Cylinder on.

Set up is:

MG ZS 2.5 V6 282 front brakes. Calipers,carriers,discs,pads
Custom HEL braided lines in blue all round, made by Gerry at PT
DC2 1" MC/Servo

Im still to paint up the new calipers but isnt much point doing so before the tracknight as the brakes will be on fire anyway. Didnt get pics of all the parts before going on,so only a few after washing the car today...

Car now has full HEL lines all round and a dc2 1" MC/servo

Was on track saturday night for the first time in the car, brakes were mega and i experienced no brake fade whatsoever, really happy with how the car handled,really positive and seemed well planted through the corners. Now need more power

Only casualty on the night was a day old powerflex bush which snapped on the centre section of the exhaust, and i melted the back bumper! Spent today cleaning up the back box and cutting/re-shaping the bumper. Gave the car a clean and ended up claying 3/4's of it,covered in tar spots after saturday.

The exhaust again is a tight fit with no more than 5mm clearence either side,completely cut out any plastic above it though,so hopefully wont melt again.

I have proper ocd over my car so spent quite a bit of time shaping,it looks "sqaure" in the pics but its almost perfect in real life,very happy with it
