Mattyssb's black caged ITB'd K24 EK9

Yes sir!
I've binned off the ktuned water plate and electric pump in favour of his version which seems far superior. Especially using a meziere water pump. That should be turning up in a week or so, Ordered last night!

I was just gonna suggest if you were thinkering about installing one of those in your car Good choice indeed..

Personally and from friends i haven't seen any issues ( drag cars only, never driven on street )
But i've seen and read on F.B and Forums about people having problems with their pump and i think fitting also..

Yeah I haven't heard of many problems until I really looked into it, but having the kit in front of me and seeing what you need to make it work against the other kit (tractuff) price wise aswell tractuff's kit is much much better value/quality for money.
Live and learn I guess!

My vibrant order turned up today, vacuum manifold and fittings which I'm now realising maybe too small. They're 4mm pneumatic fitting and line.

It looks so rough :drive:

What do you think @SPek9 is the 4mm too small? I just re read you are using 6mm. Completely slipped my mind when ordering

4mm is probably fine if that's what it supplied with that vacuum manifold

With 4mm lines, the internal diameter of the hose should be about 3mm then multiplied by 4 gives you the equivalent of a 12mm hose to supply the brake booster and map sensor

Ahhh that's awesome! Thank you dude
Luckily not using Booster so should be fine for just the map

Only just found this thread and I'm seriously impressed dude!!
Looks to be an animal!

Been thinking about how I was going to mount my buttons for the dash2, seeing as I can't reach anything further away than the steering wheel I've decided I'm going to make a steering wheel backing plate to mount them on. Probably will be carbon at some point. Rough mock up with some paper for now

Redid the mock up of the backing plate as I wasn't happy with the 2 top bits. I'm thinking it's much better now, also stronger.

Transferred the template to carbon an cut it out :D

Just need to polish off the marker pen, trim up the edges better and mount a horn button and that should be complete. Just need to order some coiled cable to make it work with the quick release :D

Things got alittle bit serious tonight too :megusta:

Love when great ideas and practicality work and look great too .
Top work dude :win:

I was thinking of a rewire tuck harness the other day. Lack of funds stopped me thankfully lol

I can see it being worth it in the long run, if I wasn't planning on keeping the car for a very long time, I would never have bought it haha
Can't wait for it to turn up :D

Thanks dude, much appreciated. It's a nice feeling when you can see everything falling in to place, just the way you've always wanted it to be.
I cannot wait to get that first drive :drive:
