Hi guys
Got my EK9 just after Christmas this year, been building it up since.
Bought it as a BARE shell with a few issues, but a good solid base for my plans/stupid ideas haha!
So hear goes, no spec list to upload for obvious reasons.

Shell was fairly rusty inside in random places, rear arches had been replaced which I've actually found out will need to be done again with it goes to paint eventually.
Underside was pretty good considering the state of the inside. Which is a plus!

My plans so far, which you may know if you follow me on Instagram (mattybuilt) are to build it up as a fairly serious track car. And eventually dependant on funds and how the build goes. Enter some sort of race series or Timeattack. I am building this car 100% for me and not for any specific race series etc.
so I will see where I fit in when its built and tested :)

How I got it, on temp 4 stud hubs and a dash haha!





To how it is now, caged up with a lot of work gone into it and plenty more to go, but you get the idea











Engine wise.. I have some jenvey ITBS ready for a hi comp b18c build









Shall update more as I go on!

Had a few bits turn up today.







Getting the car ready for paint tonight and the next 3 days, only going for inside and engine bay paint at the minute, then bodywork in september



Oh yeah my front end, ive made removeable :p
Will hopefully make things alot easier in the long run

Thanks dude, thats only a small portion of the parts i actually have for this thing :D

Quik-latch fuel cap release and rear bumper release, do have more for the front bunper they just arent fitted yet :D

Spa designs weld on snap off boss kit, which has been fitted already but here a pic before!

 
Couple more pictures, as im going through them on my phone.

New F7 LCA's, moroso baffled sump, which ive wrapped in some gold refelctive tape in an effort to keep exhaust temps away from the sump. Not sure how effiective it will be.






Bulkhead brake line fitting and T peices ready for when i get my brake lines in. Mishimoto full lenght rad, bought a mishimoto fan shroud to go with this but was told its out of stock in this country till september.






New cobra, suzuka pro fits ready to go in :D

 
J's racing vented +15mm wings, suck up the 15x7 et35 buddyclub p1's nicely



Custom tow hook mounting made up, and i will remove the OEM one

 
Nice choice on the seats,
I bought a second hand Suzuka pro gt As a passenger seat with the intention of getting a standard size for driver seat.
Hard to find second hand now so may have to go for new.

Very comfortable and love the high sides on them
