The moment Victor X arrived i thought he looked a little too pale, so i decided to treat him to a spray tan. He is now blacker than black




Got the masking done, got the vaseline on

Primer time

Spray tan time

Overnight to dry, it cured pretty well. Im now a fan of Satin Black spray paint it's so easy to apply and looks really thick

Final result after scraping at certain sections with cotton buds and flat-head screwdrivers

For saying they don't make a Victor X in black for the B18C4/1 ITR GSR im doing pretty damn good

Finally got the Victor X Vac lines at the final fitment state and thread-tape sealed

The left one goes to the FPR (Fuel Pressure Regulator)

The middle one goes to the red PCV valve of the factory fitted catch can

The right one is going to go to the brake servo on the bulkhead :angel:

Happy now ive figured it all out, no more dual restrictor :finger:

Avid racing mounts



and started to rebuild the gearbox, but ran out of time so all ive done is split the casing, damn internal clip held me up for nearly an hour and i ran out of time tonight, better finish it tmoz

Managed to fit all of the rebuild kit pieces to the S9B box

What a mess!

Out with the old in with the new

It was not a nice job at all, must have had to strip the main shaft and reassemble it 6 times until it looked and felt right.

Hope it works when its mounted up and in the engine bay, only one way to find out and it wont be long until I do know.

Gearbox all complete and sealed up.

Gave it a good clean down ready for some paint, wonder what colour im going to paint it.

Yellow it is then.

Looks like one more delivery has arrived just in time for next weekend when the transplant is going ahead.

Some yellow hoses, should finish it nicely!

Its transplant time!

Prepping of the bay starts tmoz, give it a good sand down ready for a fresh lick of paint
