Heat wrapped the header pipes and realised some fabrication was needed to get it to fit to the engine. Some tough love given with the grinder

Cheers guys, it felt like alot of work by the time id done. Good job i had a full week off work

Had a delivery of a few new bits n bobs

Tegiwa ally rad and 10'' slim fan kit

and whats this?

Teishi Racing bonnet lifters

holly ****!!!!! epic build so far lad, hope you put as much time and effort into the rest of the car, is the induction kit and header just a piss take or are you planning on running that until your turbo kit arrives? :p :nice:

Cheers pal, i have an AEM V2 but not got round to customising it yet, doesnt fit because of the intake n stuff. Headers aint a piss take that titanium wrap is protecting the paint on the head but yes its temporary

As you may know (im sure you will have heard me crying about) i had a problem with reverse following the rebuild of the S9B transmission.

Well let me shed some light on this bitch, as i didn't know the history of the box (not original to the Jordan) the top selector cog thing for 5th/rev was all mushroomed on the end of the splines thus preventing it to let the selector fork go upwards on the main shaft to allow the reverse idler to drop down (opposing force).

Split the box and discovered this after 20 minutes of scratching my head, well had to act on it so i bought some carbide cutting and grinding bits for my drill to sort this shite out once and for all, some may call this a bodge but i loved every minute of grinding this deformed piece of crap out.

Once id done sorting that out i could fit the new radiator, pics to follow when ive got abit more done.

and look whats turned up to add to the bay

Result, got reverse working and now i can park it without planning to stop on a downhill to roll back to turn around on. Happy times

Been a while since i last posted something up, had a few bothers with a crunchy second gear and a leaky sump tin. Gearbox is sorted now and hopefully the sump is im not 100% certain yet though.

Besides the crap and greif ive been doing a some bits and bobs.

Thought i would try my V2 on

Then thought id try the strut brace on

Being as it fit nicely i decided to spray it, looked odd in black.

Looks better in yellow.

So here is where i am

Almost decent sump, crunch free gearbox and now i can save for my full body respray

Thanks bud, yep thats the plan. Once the engine has done leaking bits of oil about and its run in etc

Just been spending the odd couple of quid here and there on a few bits and bobs. Still saving for the full hit.

So ive got a Skunk2 solenoid cover, firewall delete, new oil filler cap and some baller spikes

Looks a tadd bitt better now

and also my 9 spoiler arrived today :)

9 spoiler is now fitted :)

Just got a tiny decision to make in regards to the colour of the baseplate.

Unsure whether to leave it black or spray the lot yellow, any idea's folks?

Great work so far mate. Bold colours to say the least, but why not! who says and engine bay can't be bright and colourful! So so clean though, good job with the paint.

Quick question though, I notice the CP pistons were 9:1? planning a turbo in the future?

Thanks dude i agree, i was thinking to myself as i planned and prepped it ''what if it looks shite?'' Then i thought who cares coz i aint driving anywhere with the bonnet up so whats it matter. Im really happy with it overall very chuffed with myself, all DIY nobody else involved. Yep the whole build is aiming at a turbo, the engine should be reliable up to about 500, only weak point being the stock sleeves so its whatever they can handle. Thats what the S9B is about too help spread the gears out n save shredding my tyres to a thousand pieces every time i want to pull off haha. Im hoping to turbo it but even if i dont shes pretty damn fast N/A it kicks ya back in the seat at 6k
