Thanks mate..
After finding one of the bolts seized in the rear lca's I threw in the towel and decided not to bother. I'm going to get some some coilovers instead, some hardrace front and rear camber arms so i can get the car sitting how i want.I've also got some spare rear lca's which i'm going to get painted and fit hardrace bushes to with stainless lca bolts.

Ahh the dreaded rear lca bolts! 3 out of the 4 Honda's I have owned I have had trouble getting those bastard bolts out!

Plans sound good, look forward to seeing some updates.

looks great love the work going in to bring what was already a clean 9 back to former glory :)

Time for an update.

First off,i'd to say a big thank you to Ramsay (ramboteamjon) for making my new purchase a pleasurable one. I had a constant flow of updates and pictures throughout.

The car has been keeping me busy this last week or so. I sorted out a couple things which have been bugging me these last couple months. The drivers seat belt was fraying and would jam every time I put it on,this was

replaced with one from a breaker. The power steering pump was whining,I was going to strip it down and replace the bearing and the seals but it worked out cheaper to

get a used one, which I got from R-motion. I also flushed out the old power steering fluid and replaced it with new Honda fluid.

I've replaced my exhaust system for a Fujitsubo Rmo1a,this is what i bought off
Ramsay.

I noticed the seam sealer at the back of the roof was cracking. So I removed the roof strips, cleaned out all the dirt from the roof

channels, sealed up the cracks with Honda liquid gasket and then painted over the sealant.

I then gave the car a clean using:

Chemical Guys V38 polish

Chemical Guys Wet mirror finish

Chemical Guys Jet Seal paint sealant on the paint work.

Autoglym glass polish

Autoglym tyre pressing

Autosol for the exhaust.

I've also made some rear lip/arch guards using clear 3m body protection film.

In total,I've spent 5 hours on the car....then it rained just as I finished!!

hey man no probs at all, it was a pleasure doing business with you! :) the exhaust has come up totally amazin....sooo shiny! :) hope you like!

great updates and work mate, your a credit to all ek9 owners! wish i had access to all th honda gear like you!

Today,I got a couple of new parts fitted to the car.

I've replaced the clutch line with a Hel braided one and I've also fitted a tegiwa brake stopper. I was going to get a Cusco stopper but decided against it when I priced one up.

I've also been collecting a few parts for my suspension, which will be getting a bit of an overhaul next week.

Hi I have 2 questions.
Could you please tell me the part number of the yuasa starter battery that you installed?
And what kind of blue sticker is that on your firewall behind the battery? Is it original?
Thanks mate.
by the way I love the way you take care of the car. I am doing the same with mine at the moment :)
cheers
Oliver

Hi Oliver, sorry for the late reply. The sticker looks to be original and I think it's something to do with the air conditioning.

The battery is for a Jazz, the part number is:31500SAAE02.
The battery terminals are in different position(closer to the bulk head)but with a little bit of tweaking the cables will fit.

Thanks buddy.. Should i decide to change my car any time soon,i'll let you know.
