since i bought new wheels turns out i need 60 degree tapered nuts. fudge.
could anyone point me in the direction of some good decent priced lug nuts?
looking for a locking set too

cheers all!
:nerv:

Funkpower sell a decent selection.

The only ones I would advise you NOT to go for are D1 spec, they fade and are mega soft and the threads strip far to easy :(

aw thank god, i was about to buy D1's cause they were cheaper. Any recommendations?

:thanks:

Mate i have gone thru 2 sets of lugs in 2 years. I would not reccomend them. My most recent set was a set of volk formula nuts. Look the business but got ten months out of them or 5 wheel turn arounds. Aftermarket nuts are made of really soft metal compared to stock nuts. And only the other day I spent 4-5 hours getting my volk nuts off over a rounded key and they were never over torqued.

Stock nuts are as strong as you are going to get, plus no heart ache if a key or nut rounds out. I have stock nuts on mine and they may not look as good but they damn sure wont be beaten on quality and I can assure you of that.

Definately, cheap nuts can be annoying and dangerous!

That is because you were buying alluminium lugs which are really soft. Buy a set of steel ones and you will be grand. I have a set of extended steel buddyclub ones. They look great and are super strong

I've had very light Vision lug nuts and they kept up pretty well, had some abuse too by the garage :( Only some slight fading on the corners because of airhammers hammering too hard.

Why did I see this thread after just buying some??

Anyone used fp racing ones? Only reason I bought them was because of internal drive...
