Thanks man!Awesome work, really enjoyed your thread
Ill admit i did pay a fair chunk for mine, i had a chance at one 10 years ago for a quarter of what youd pay now but couldnt insure one at the time. Now my insurance is cheaper than my road taxWhat a great example of a DC2, would love one of these, hard to justify the prices though...
Thanks manStunning.
doubt i will see much gains to be fair just want to make sure its 100 percent. Im driving from central scotland so dont want to risk damaging the car and being stranded maybe one day ill take it on track.Looking good man, will be interesting to see how the car performs with the intake/exhaust on dyno now .
Are you going to take it on track for Hiro day ?
After the teg being pretty much bone stock for almost 3 years ive decided its time for a change. Hoping to keep a period correct vibe with the whole car so picked up some genuine advan rg 16x7.5 et45 finished in a pearl white with new stickers.

I Also knew of a c west fiberglass front lip that had been passed about some friends and asked around to see who had it and if they would sell it. A deal was struck and it was dropped off at my usual bodyshop for repairs and paint.View attachment 47966View attachment 47967
Once it was back from paint i threw it on with some double sided tape and a few screws and fitted the advans with a new set of rays extended lug nuts for a more racecar look and heres the result.

After fitting ive decided i want to go down the early 2000s route with the car and make it look like something youd see in a tuning magazine so ive contacted @st3ph3nr on instagram and all going well a basic decal will go on next. Pictures coming soon.

Thats gutting manThat advan wheels remind me that when I imported my 2000 ek9, a set of these wheels were stolen during shipment, since the car had them stored inside the car
