Annual service done, also gave the car a full decontamination including the engine bay and gave the paint a coat of collinite 845, cleaned then treated the glass with angelwax h2go and gave the interior a hoover and a wipe down with apc. I never use trim dressing on my interior as i always think it makes it feel too greasy.

Those seats look as just they came out of the factory :)

They are mega condition wise, the drivers bolster does have some wear though, i really should invest in some genuine seat covers
 
Towards the end of last year i decided i wanted to make some changes to the dc2, nothing major just some mods to make it more fun to drive and go for a different vibe over the more oem look. Ive been aiming for period correct almost as if youd see the car on something like hot version or a tuner magazine in the early 2000s. Last night my decals showed up and i got to work.

Tried to keep things minimal and only use decals of parts that are actually on the car. Now i just need a mugen gen1 wing and shes complete....for now.
 
Finally the day has come. After making some changes to the exhaust and intake it felt wrong to not get the new mods tuned in. So i got booked in for ap performance to work his magic again at sos in falkirk. Bright eyed and bushy tailed at 9 oclock he got to work, made the changes neccesary and also put in launch controll and a hard cut limiter just to add to the many new noises this car is making. Job was done, managed to grab a food shop and was still home for lunch. Car runs and sounds the absolute tits which isnt a suprise when the main man does what he does. The 3.5hp gain was also a nice suprise as it just pushes the car to over 200 hp. Great day all in!

Saw this at Gun Run. I thought the decals were black, but they're actually a really cool midnight blue. Car's lovely and credit to you :fapfap:

Went to the hiro racing gun run and came home with a sudden urge to buy random shiny bits for the teg. First up, brand new js racing c pillar brace.

Saw one on a mint dc2 and thought its whats needed to give the car a bit more spice. Also tempted to try and get a jun oil cap and rocker cover too but we will see!

Spent the summer spending zero money on the teg bar fuel and just enjoyed ownership which has been good. Went to some meets, shows and just drove the thing which has been class. Only adition to the parts collection was a pair of advan avs in 16x7et30 that i got in a parts trade so technically they are free right?

Ill probably throw the tires from the oems on them for the time being to put on when i fancy a more mismatched look.

Recently had a stab at drag racing which was quite a laugh, managed a 14.79 with a passenger and a full tank which i was happy with considering ive never done it properly before. Not something id make a habit of doing but it was a good day out at crail raceway with the lads.

Coming into winter the teg has limited outings before it goes for a full underbody restoration at japcom in east kilbride. This is my forever car so i want to future proof it so i never need to worry about the dreaded tin worm! Ill update the thread as progress is made though!
 
Had a bit of spontaneous spend on tegiwa the other day while on my lunch break and ended up buying a new rear tilt bracket for when the underside resto gets done. Also put a js racing front strut tower bar in my basket because im on the js hype at the moment. Kinda fancy a gold js racing oil cap next to keep the gold theme going.

Wanted some original p1s for a long time but didnt want silly offsets that would wreck the arches. These 15x7 et45 came up for a good price and i had to grab them.

Think im going to get them refurbed in the original grey the would be cool, possibly get some semi slicks and put tire writing on them.

Also decided to keep my daily standard so going to try the zerofighter exhaust i have on for size and see how it sounds

Went for some nankang ns2r in 195 55 15 as the sidewall is about 5mm taller than the 50s which means more room for the tire writing ill be putting on them . Tegiwa is doing a deal on old stock for 68 quid a tire too so much cheaper than yokohamas

I've them on the Civic currently. Shocking in the rain. Was actually raining when I dropped your bumper off and I'm wheelspinning up the road. Going to try Federals next.
