Hiya,

As i said in the new users section my boyfriend gav-ek9 bought me a eg3 yesterday for my birthday. This is a working project and needs a bit of work done as it has been sprayed matt black and not to a very good standard, so it has been booked in on thursday for a re-spray with a honda spray painter and is being sprayed a proper honda gloss black. There has also been new alloys ordered for next week and these will be sprayed to match at a later date.

Specs:

1.3 engine very nippy (so i am told)
unkown exhaust but is bloody loud and sounds better than gavs mircale firball :p .
ek4 vti interior (that needs a good clean)
dc2 suspension with unknown lowered springs (on its arse )
d2 lower control arms
and boxes full of spares.

It is currently got no tax or mot and has 2 steel wheels and 2 alloys on it with a flat tyre but this time next week it will have had its fresh re-spray and will have its new shoes on so all will be well :D

Gav and Dan (jordan101) went to pick this up on sunday from MarkP so he could surprise me on monday so a big thanks to the guys for there help in making this happen for me.

its rough and ready at the mo but will be looking sweet next week once the re-spray and wheels are on and ill keep u all updated.

Looking good can`t wait to see the progress on this car . the exhaust on this car sounds epic .
 
nice cant wait to see how it turns out. any plans yet besides the re-spray?
 
it sure does not sure if im keeping it as it sets gavs car alarm of everytime i pull away :D or maybe i will just to annoy him .

eh yeh gavs wanting me to k24 in it ! but the wee 1.3 is fine for me.

Well gav is planning to drop a k24 in it, strip it out, caged, carbon'd but i dont think i could take ma wee gran shopping in it she would have a heart attack :lol:

my plans are for it are to get a new jdm spec boot lid (sir) change exhaust and 12by 6 jdm plates . i think that will do for now as its only going to be my wee daily driver.

Mean while gav is free to do what he wants to his own car !
 
Have you had the ruler out seeing who's is lower yet? ahah

yes mine looks like a 4x4 sitting next to it but im hoping thats just the 14's and the flat tyre doing all the work :lol:
work shall begin tomorrow night and cant wait for the shiney new re-spray :dance:

haha welcome to the forum kirsten glad u like the suprize :) me and gav got lost about 100 times trying to pock it up lol we then hid the truck round the corner and while u were in bed he snuck it into the garage haha hope u had a nice bday chief :) all the best with the new car hopefully one day u can burn gav in his 9 ;) haha

oi enough of that you ! :p

and cant believe i've spent £500 on a 5zigen system for the 9, the eg has a wee budget aftermarket system and it sounds epic :lol:

ps: Kirst is in hospital today having an operation going to pick her up later on and im sure all will be well :nice:

and as said on your welcome thread lovely eg and with all the lads up scotland(as there is loads):)) you will get alot of help they all now what they are on about

I just got an EG 1.5 as a daily and it's a hoot! How much is the respray costing if you don't mind me asking?

i really dont know as gav is getting it done as part of my birthday present so im not aloud to know so you can drop him a pm and he will tell you :lol:
