so I bought the engine back in 2001 and now its 2010, i still got the receipt from when I first bought it and only putted 30k miles on it since, so the engine only has 65k to this point.

I bought the engine intending to not mod it in any way but now its been like 10 years don't know what should I do really. Should I

1. keep it the way it is
2. sell it (how much they go for theses days?????, i bought it for like 5 grand)
3. boost it, sc or turbo (yes i know im not going to get a lot of boost because of the high compressions but i just want to get enough to make it daily drivable and not to worry) how much would it cost and which type?
4.stroke it, how much would it be? and would it be faster?
5. give me a option that hasent been listed

please give me advice as i dont know what to do, my civic isnt going to worth alot as it would be back in the days, (i am the first owner, clean title, and have ALL my reciept in whats been put into the car), and

i really dont want to sell it, i might just keep it as a winter beater for years to come so ya why not make it a little fun?

How about putting a K20 in your car? That will make it a HELL of a lot faster.

whats plated diff?? and whats so good bout m factory gears, much improvement?

k20 would be fun but my motor hasent been hammered yet it would be a waste to sell it at 65k miles right now =)

how much are stoker kits? and how much of a improvement would it do?
stoker kits are like 2k right?

Well as interman said if u can find a ITR crank u would have a b18c engine and the fact that the ctr pistons has a higher compresion u should get a extra kick.

would it beat a k20 hatch? probably at the beginning right

and dont know how i am going to get the stock internals =/ with the itr internals, it would be a 1.8l right?

You could buy a B18 & sell your B16 to re-couperate some of your costs!
Thats what most people do including myself when i did it!:D

I have a B18 for sale too if your intrested!:secret:

On a budget you cannot beat the overall performance you get from the b18.
