Which dip? If your referring to the slight dip before vtec we choose to put it that way in order to gain power when switching to high cam(vtec) and I say slight as while it may be evident on this dyno with it been so sensitive you cannot feel it out on the road, having it like this gives the feeling of B series transistion to high cam which IMO is nice to have in a road car, most of my customers don't like a flat change over to high cam
We will be adjusting the map slightly when car goes drag racing to give a linear power curve something like how we mapped the car first time round when it had the 2.25 exhaust on, this should help reduce wheel spin.
The spike in power you see at 5000 rpm and then sudden drop is just due to the high power when vtec kicks in that the car climbs the front roller of dyno again this is not evident out on the road.
