Is this a real EK9 HEAdlight?

guys is this a real Ek9 headlight? I know its made by Honda because of the stamp and Stanley. But the color is light black shadow or so, but i really want to make sure its the Ek9 and not SiR.

Looks abit funny dont think its from EK9 but maybe im wrong. Is it off a facelift or pre-facelift model? I could probally take a pic tomorrow of my pre-facelift headlight and post it up for you to compare it
 
this is from a 96-98 and taken indoor with no light on lol. btw its taken by my crappy iphone camera thats why =D
 
i know it says stanley but I am not too sure if this one is the SiR or CTR. Its not possible that someone painted the SiR to make it look like CTR could it? but it dont seem so because the seal looks like its never been open
 
In that lighting, with 2 pictures from the same angle, I can't tell if it's CTR or SIR.
 
It appears to be CTR since it's nice and glossy. Usually painted headlights don't turn out that nice. Like mine are matte black but I know they are USDM housings with a JDM lamp dome.
 
Am I right in saying that th Sir headlights came with the bulb cap cover thing and th eEK9 headlights didn't?

I know the VTi's came with that, but not 100% on the SiR's.
 
Yeah I was thinkin that too but to me those still look to be real CTR housings cause they look too good to be blackouts. I can't tell from the pre-facelift pic but over in the other headlight thread, the facelift SiR headlight I posted has a cap over the bulb. Now I have JDM lamp domes in my USDM housings and they have caps too. I think they are from an SiR.

Here's a pic for reference. Yes, the housing is USDM (blacked out) but the lamp dome isn't. USDM lamp domes don't have the City light hole as you might can tell from the old headlight. I believe my domes are from an SiR.

also, this is what blackouts/painted headlights usually look like which is why I think ekinuyasha's are real.
 
Looks real. And I think aftermarket headlights don't usually have the parker lights, but yours does.

Check the rear brackets for more engraved OEM marks

Honda + stanley + parker lights + shiny shadow chrome = real
