How useless is you EK in snow?


Mine is awesum ha ,

Honestly cant really fault it unless i be silly !
Not a lot of cars get out the street but mine is fine every time!
just hate de-icing and the inside freezing ha
 
Mine hasnt been out in the snow yet, i still have my old poolo so thats being used as my daily plodder through the winter to keep it running.
 
my 306 is great :D
13inch wheels with skinny tyres seem to do the job , also it weighs very little so i can have lots of fun :secret:
 
i have been out in mine a few times not to bad..parked up now have my little 92 Astra out now..having fun in it every corner i cant help lifting the handbrake :shocked:

My 306 is parked in the garge and I am waiting on a part...I would have such fun if I had it now..Dont like bringing out the ek9 but dont have a choice :((
 
my 9 corolla is good too ive been doggin the life out of it.cant bring my levin out,2 way diff is a no no,back passes the front!
 
Mine is actually stranded now, I made it from the clear space to where the tyre marks are, scrabbled for zero grip for about 10 minutes, then pushed it back to where it is here:

Won't be going anywhere for a while, although I am supposed to be at an autotest on Sunday, could be interesting...
 
anyone stuck, buy some michellin composite snow-chains! Theyre a godsend! :bow:
 
Got mine out today, drove the sheet ice backroad to work and it was actually brilliant, didn't seem bothered by it at all. The journey to work took no longer than normal because nobody else was on the road!
 
It's not useless, just buy the winter tyres for God's sakes :D
 
simple answer, not well lol

nearly kerbed wheels few times due to idiots still thinkin weather normal so pulling out hence me being sensible and not wanting to claim slowing down, on snow lol not good and sliding

but having some awsome killer drifts =) just sits broadside love it
