How much your car is worth.

everybodys saying our cars are 15 years old , how old is an ae86 and when alls said and done thers nothing special about them the a 1600 car with 130 bhp new and are rwd a good ek9 should still fetch top dollar as the are an icon

Wifes

-93 EG6 SiR Black £4000-4500 One of the cleanest you will find in UK. Low miles, NO rust, MeisterR's, Full OE engine bay in mint, new DC2 center and EK9 back box from dealer. Maybe £4800-5000 on a good day with Black recaros and the Super Advan's.

Hoping most can only go up in value as long as I look after them.
Have a few other cars like drift beater 1.6 mx5 £400, pair of £400-600 Crv's, beaters EM1 and Del Sol SiR but are dogs in my eyes and would only consider them worth £600-800 Possibly £1000 if tidied up.

Don't think I'd sell my del sol.
But if I was I don't know what price I'd put on it. It's a rare model and it's the cleanest one I've ever come across but the prices for them at the moment are all over the place.

ha dude dont you think everyone that has an attachment to their car is going to think it is 'clean', subjectivity to the max. unless they are actually realistic which is the minority hohoho

I don't think it , i know it! ,, been offered 2200 for it before but as i said don't bother me what it would make.. but 2400 is realistic for my car.

It genuinely was the most rust free/"clean" EK I have come across, I regret selling it to this day.

It went for a little bit more, mainly because I was approached about selling it. Good cars usually sell from word of mouth.

Covered >5k miles since It's home in Tokyo, shame it's now dead and being stripped :nono: :nono:

Are you trying to say an AE86 isn't iconic?

urgh

im not even going to bother explaining the reasoning to you if you cant understand that how 'clean' a car is is purely subjective. it is not, no matter how much you would like to think so, an objective fact.

this is a nice point.

Haha, this thread is a good laugh. I wonder how many "the cleanest in the UK" EGs, EKs etc are floating around? :D The 9 I bought was "clean" - well not by my standards, but I bought it cheap so I didn't expect a clean car, and tbf it looks worse now than when I bought it lol. An EK9 - regardless of whether pfl or fl - can be worth anything between £3k and £20k or more. How much do you think would the one from Honda museum with delivery miles on it sell for? Recently I have been thinking of buying a second 9 - as immaculate as possible and keep it locked up in a garage while I abuse my track toy. I know that if I don't do it one day I will regret it as immaculate EK9s are becoming very rare and the price will only go up! If what has been said - about the US being allowed to import them soon - is true the price in Japan will go thru the roof!

This is my dream when I finish uni, two ek9 garage.

are people for real when they say this? cant they see the irony.

80% of drivers rate themselves as above average....

Yes I'm for real. It's the cleanest one 'I' have come across. Im not saying it's the cleanest in the country or that anyone else has seen.

Really is a shame what happened to it . it was so so so clean underneath and everywhere! what was the mileage ?

It was very clean! Another driver took out the passenger side front and bent the leg, slam panel etc... :(

It was on about 127k km's, 78 k miles, literally drove/looked like it did a 1/3 of that though.

On another note,

Glad to see fresh DC2's are still holding strong enough coin, reassuring after importing mine recently:
