How many miles do you get to a full tank?

Like the thread title suggests.

I don't know yet as I have only owned my EK4 for less than 2 weeks and haven't racked up much mileage yet.

Also if you mileage is really bad, do you have any mods that increase fuel use? Or do you bring it to vtec at every possible chance?? lol
 
i get about 230km out 30euro petrol with mix driving and is e5 from maxol which i feel do last longer
 
300km from £30 of Shell Ultimate/V-Power currently selling at 121.9p at the local station

so something around 24-25 litres of fuel to 300kms

think that works out as low 30's mpg :(
 
Ive got 300 miles to a tank coming back from nurburgring from my B18 EK9 and i gave it a few moments of stick. About £45 worth of fuel
 
i managed to squeeze 42 litres of fuel into mine yesterday and that was with the petrol light on as entered the garage!!

i'd managed about 280 miles from a full tank :)
 
average is between 230 and 250miles in mine, best i've had is 325miles

ek9 has a fuel light? never seen mine :p
 
Worst i've had wwas 105 miles to a tank

That was round the ring, was getting 8 laps to a tank :woot:

Normally can squeeze about 230 miles
 
I dont often fill the tank, but for comparison and out of interest i'll do it this week!

my EK4 gets 500kms to a tank so bout 300 odd miles....and thats with some vtec-in!!!!

I havent wanted to but have done plenty of times, youve got loads of miles left on the light! You'd be surprised.
 
I never fill my EK4 up, bot to £20 I average between 85-110 miles.. I give it nuff **** though
 
Petrol light game is fun!

Managed to empty my dads FD2 so it only had 1.5L left in the tank :lol:
 
i used to get 200miles to a tank in my ek9 now with the itbs fitted and tuned i get 300miles but as soon as i piss about with vtec it soon disapears
 
I get between 200-250, thats with a spoon ECU and Mfactory Close ratio 3rd 4th and 5th. Its like constantly driving round in a lower gear, 3rd = 2nd 4th= 3rd etc


Just out of interest what revs in 5th gear are people doing at 80mph? I do 5,000rpm

sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this but i hope you will appreciate that you were asking for a speed above the national speed limit so had to try this in a safe environment... :naughty:

at 80mph, in 5th, mine's revving at about 4300rpm

at 90mph, in 5th, mine's revving at about 4900rpm
