How far does full tank get you?

hmmm think mine needs some work then as I only see 200 from a full take, town driving (I do like vtec tho), and its only just under 57k miles. Thoughts?

To be honest mate its prob the fact that your town driving short journeys = alot of time spent on the choke and in low gears really affects your mpg

Cool, thought that just needed to hear it from someone else. Might be doing a long trip tomorrow so will fill the tank and see what I get.

Also planning a service next month, got oil/filter already.

In my ek9 im getting on average 250 to 280 miles out of a full tank with mixed driving.

I get around 200 km for 25 quid petrol at around 98-102 cent a litre!

motorway driving around 5k in 5th gear most the way and occasionally going at 6K got me 200 miles last night.

Then again my major blowing on the header wont be doing MPG any good....

They do have very small tanks though top be fair.

This is done on stock gearing.

Unless taking a long trip, I try to keep the tank about half. That extra 6 gallons to a full tank weighs about 40 pounds!

i always get between 230 and 270 miles to a full tank. My journey is a true 50/50 split of motorway, b and a road and city.

Try not getting above 3k rpm or even better, not above 2500. In my previous car that saved me about 30-40 percent of fuel in the city and for my EG5 it also works like a charm.

How far does full tank get you?

I dont know. I havent tried it yet. Usually, I fill my 9 half tank for less weight. :D

i got 156 miles to a tank. most is 210

people who get over 250 should sell there cars.

(EK4); normal driving i'll see 260miles or there abouts. Acting a lig and b road bashing 180 ish! I find a big difference on where i get the petrol from, dodgy places it usually runs through the car like curry and feels dead on the pedal. I find when running on super i'll get alot more mpg and the car is alot sharper.

in my ek9 i just managed to get 331 miles out of a full tank. it did have the red light on for about 50 miles!!

I get on average around 320 miles on approx £35 worth of petrol in my EK9 with mixed driving. In my EK3 I get even more, around 380 miles on £35.

My first tank of gas lasted me 260 miles and that was with open header -_-.
