Hey guys, just wondering with all your EKs in here how many litre is your tank and how far the full tank get you on average in km/miles.

Im from australia so we use KM here. I have a 45 litre tank (EK4) and i get 300-420Km (my best) with my full tank which is 186-260miles. I was told this is **** they say they usually get at least 350-500Km full tank (217-310). This is with stock car and stock wheel/tyres 100% stock.

How much do you get outta full tank?

I get about the same (Drive an EM1) but mine is all pretty much town driving. Notice a difference when on a long run, better.

My old EJ9 ( 1.4 ) i could get 375 miles outa 45 litres but that was driving like a granny i normally got between 250-300.

My new civic bith a b18 i got 300 outa 45 litres then i started properly driving it i get between 180-250 :)

Is that all in miles? If so your car is pretty good 300 miles with 45litre tank.

your mileage looks normal. 420 km is possible doing normal driving with a bit of vtec in beteween. 300 km is the kind of mileage you'd get if you were really getting on the gas all the time. The highest i've gotten was 440 km and i am sure that slightly more is possible after a full service including changing ALL filters and proper working primary O2 sensor. bear in mind i'm referring to an ek4.

Sounds shitty indeed man. A mate of mine with an EK4 that knows no other stand than WOT (when the engine is warm) usually does 1:11-1:12. And thats WOT most of the time then ;)

My EK9 B18CR does about 320KM to a full tank and thats average driving with vtec here and there:)

Depending on various things I get 250-300 miles from a 45 litre tank in my EJ9, thats just driving normally. Town Driving I get around 250 miles.

ive never filled up my tank to tops
i dont wanna because i will just drive constantly. so i put in £20 and it lasts me wednesday to wednesday

Yer it is m8 but thats a very well serviced engine with 54,000 on it. Plus to get 300 i have to keep it below 3.5k revs. When im boncing it off 8.5k u see the petrol drop lol.

I use to do 186 miles (300km) with my ek4 (town + highway) with some vtec's. :(

i thought 35 liter was full tank so iv neva filled it up fully but i get bout 160 miles for 20 liter of petrol. cause i drive in fifth gear all the time cause im tight like that =D

Average ek9 or any other honda with a b16 variant gets about 25mpg driving normal, by normal i mean following the speed limit and smashing the gas every now and then.

i got 340 miles out of my em1 with a few mods and thats was on a long journey sitting at 4500 rpm the whole way 5000rpm some times day to day driving i get about 300-320 miles to a full tank

hmmm think mine needs some work then as I only see 200 from a full take, town driving (I do like vtec tho), and its only just under 57k miles. Thoughts?

To be honest mate its prob the fact that your town driving short journeys = alot of time spent on the choke and in low gears really affects your mpg
