I didn't take too many pictures of the process...but what I did was, I cut a small portion of the bumper support (the top), that way I can drill out holes on the bottom part of the support.That's pretty much how I did it, it was pretty simple.:nice:

Well here is my new SS Benen Strut bar.Fitment was good, and it looks great.I also went ahead and bought some new chrome caps nuts for the strut bar, and also the VC.I have never seen these cap nuts before..they almost look like bullets.:shocked:

i have a question "xtoplinex"...how do you put that Benen strutbar? i notice that my car dosent have bolts on both side to put that kind of strutbar....did you drill a whole on it and put some bolts?

yup..I had to drill holes for it...but the marks are already there from factory..so it made drilling a whole lot easier.:nice:
 
Looking freaking bad ass there my friend. Since that your all done with your project on you car, now you can start with my ride, J/K, I wish.:((
 
I envy you man, I just wish I had the freaking darn money to fix my ride up. At least if I had a new paint job and different rims I would really be happy.

I installed my new Type R VC yesterday, along with my Type R Oil cap, and J's Racing Radiator cap. :nice:

I got my J's Racing oil cap in..I had removed the Type R oil cap and laid it on my window pillar and it left a weird looking oil ring behind. :shocked:

wow i read your whole thread, very nice work, i like how you stuck with the d16y7 motor for a while, im trying to start from inside out, starting with motor first. props to you bro, you should get another hatch and make it a track car
 
Thanks everyone! :nice: The J's Racing (as said above) is indeed a sticker...but it's a sweet sticker though..lol.It would also be pretty cool to get another civic...but seriously, it's just way too much money..lol. I'll probably stick with just this one..
