Hi all, I assume there are quite a few gym users on here. Just wondering if I can get some advise. I've got some body fat round my stomach and lower chest area which I need to get rid of as well as getting a lean build, specially on my arms. I've been looking at "diet/weight loss" ***** such as

PhD Lean Degree

Genade Thermo Detonator

Maximuscle Thermobol

Can anyone advise on the above?

Took both the grenade and thermabol before when cutting up, grenade better one of the 2. Don't no anything bout PHd but there products usually pretty good.

Did the have any side effects? How long did it take to notice any results?

I can vouch for PHd products, ive seen some good gains with their synergy proein shake and they're the tastiests shakes ive ever had (banana was a bit sickly though) not tried any fat burners like them though so cant comment on that lol

post up whatever you go for and let us know how it goes!

i have hydroxycut hardcore made by muscletech.Very good fat burners for the money

Hi mate i have my gym instructors badge so i can help you with any thing you need i would recommend thermabol as i have helped my best mate out in the past to get were he is now and thermabol helped him out alot you have to train aswell to see the full effect as more muscle build you i would recomend USN creatine and protein take them both twicw a day morning/before training/after training/before bed
Gym- to loose weight a build a slight bit of muscle use rowing machine or crostrainer they help tone arm legs chest n shoulders and also use runing machine but no longer than 45 mins as it starts to burn muscle
Weights-to loose fat in your chest use the bench(bench press) start off as heavy as you can go for as many reps you can do then drop the weight to as low as you can go these are called pyramid sets there are also alot of other work outs
Use crunches instead of situps to help tone your stomach as sit ups consentrate more on your lower back if you need any info on anything drop me a pm im happy ti help :)

for me it worked pretty quick, lost about 2 stone on them,as mugen says i was far to skinny so stopped using them lol and yeah you start off with 1 capsule twice a day and then work your way up but for me i only took 2 as 3 was too much for me lol i have there new formula one and 3 twice a day was fine.Defo the ones id try mate seen a few people use them and have good results. Supplements | Protein | Creatine | Whey is where i get mine and you get a free shaker :)

Cheers for that, I've been advised loads of other things as well like BCAA, ECA's and EFA's (whatever they are)

At the time i was on protein and the fat burners and thats how i lost all the weight think it was optimum nutrition protein lol the therabol for me were pure **** didnt work anywere near as good as musletech. They also left me with a very uncomfortable feeling in my stomach,im not a maximuscle fan tho as ive tried there products and none worked for me the way others did

To be fair maxi muscle is best for weight loss as i now and advice alot of people on this not so good muscle building USN is best stuff for muscle building as i have found out personally thermabol works well you have to have a good diet n workout aswell it doesnt work all on its own it takes hard work n comitment to get how you wana be and if you want to achieve that you will!!!

Just didnt work for me the way the muscletech one did,ano wat your saying but some products work for some and for some they dont.Have you ever tried the muscletech hydroxycut? Alot of my mates and i used to be very into are training and tried maximuscle therabol and didnt rate it,maximuscle gets a good name as its advertised alot, all these other brands arnt herd of and are superior. You say the usn is best for muscle building altho ive never tried it i used to use optimum nutrition was the best pound for pound protein on the market surely it would be the best for muscle building as it had the highest intake of protein per serving. This was last year tho and i dont train anymore due to a shoulder injury so maybe times have changed

USN creatine is a supplement cage fighters n body builders use and is great for mass muscle gain i dont rate maxi muscle in a sense of weight gaining they are to expensive and dont make alot of difference i use USN creatine n met- rx protein powder both twice a day but to be fair you dont need protein shakes there jus a waste of money if you eat alot of fish, chicken, beans etc as they all have aload of protein and to much protein goes straight through you as its not needed
As for thermabol my mates have used this and have seen massive differences but as you said everyone is different i personally havent uae it a i have been training since i was 15 and have been a qualified gym instructor since i was 17 as thats all i wanted to do lol but ye the products you use are highly recomended but the ones that i have seen work n i will stand by is thermabol and USN

I'm also a qualified fitness instructor and personal trainer. The advice I was given by my lecturers during my course was that protein shakes etc aren't for your run of the mill daily gym user. All the protein you need comes in the forms dan just mentioned, most of which would be in most peoples daily diet. Protein shakes only work for people who train 2-3 times a day and can't get enough protein into them through normal diets so are required to "supplement". These are your professional weight lifters, fighters and athletes. The majority of this stuff you urinate out so it's an expensive trip to the toilet in my opinion.

If you're just a regular gym user, I would advise you to eat 5-6 smaller meals spread out across the day and never miss breakfast. This way your metabolism is working from the minute you get up until you go to sleep which means you're burning calories even when you're not exercising.

As for diet p*lls, I'm pretty sure they're just laxatives so again, another expensive trip to the toilet.

As for training, depends on what your goals are. If you're looking to lose fat but gain muscle I would train 2 muscle groups a day, coupling a larger muscle group like your chest with a smaller group like your biceps or triceps. do 3-4 exercises per muscle group, at least 40 minutes of cardio a day, and train 5-6 days per week if possible. Always give your body as least one days rest a week.

Hope this helps.

true what your saying,i used bsn creatine the protein mentioned when bulking and got to a fairly good size but i was also on a strict protein diet to with just the one cheat meal a week(the local chippy which is awsome). As for the fat burners they dont act as a laxative they dont work like that. When i took mine i sweated like a fuker, i mean arms, legs, head, back soaking with sweat pretty **** when our gym's shower's were fooked and had to go home with a sweaty everything lol im goina do my fitness instructor course once my shoulder is sorted :) good to see a few people into there fitness tho atm ive put on weight so the hydroxycuts are coming outa the cupboard lol

TBH mate I've been a Personal Trainer for 7 years. I train a World Champion Natural Bodybuilders and Professional Athletes in London and I travel the world for work. Everywhere I go people who take these types of supps are usually still big and still trying to lean up. The ones who are lean are the ones who eat a clean diet and train well and get enough SLEEP!! Abs and definition is made in the kitchen and nurtured in the bed. Trust me on this. I KNOW! There is no miracle pill or supplement.

My private studio in London.
