Just a quick question really as i have the facelift cupholders, don't fancy cutting them up or blocking off the pocket, but also i like my stereo where it is......

was considering one of these just on the dash infront of the middle fan vent....Kind of like the mugen DC5

I Realise its a very un-classy way of doing it...... but it would do the job.

TRIPLE BLACK DASHBOARD GAUGE POD FOR 3 X 2"/52MM GAUGES | eBay UK

Just wondering what other idea you have! (i don't want them above the glovebox as they are too out of sight)

Cheers! :nice:

On the scuttle panel (like the old muscle cars) :nice: :D

Take a look a my car in members rides at my gauge setup. I got it all off ebay.

Tbh i want to keep them off the A-Pillar as i dont want anything in my line of sight as such!
Think i may just sacrifice my stereo, Maybe run a small amp directly to the speakers so i can play music through an external device instead of needing a head unit! Hmmmm

having them in your a pillar is hardly gunna effect your site dude.. how about either side of your dials?

how about either side of your dials and a frog pod on top of your dash, it still leaves you with a spare hole, but then you have an excuse to buy more gauges lol

Here is mine, 60mm, from Japan Yahoo. Looks great !

im going to either change to double din setup or move stereo for mine when time comes

Think im going to go with the amp / ipod lead thing & Just put them into my stereo slot!

Cheers for replies! :nice:

Ill try and remember to post mine up tonight but I have installed mine in the din slot for the radio and moved the headunit down to the pocket in front of the gearstick.
It does mean I loose the little pocket but it was so small it was pointless anyway, however I do still have the cup holders and they are still usable, I control my radio using a remote I keep in the door pocket so I dont have to lean over and I have an ipod cable running into my glove box.

Overall I am very happy with this setup looks pretty much factory and much better than pillar or frog pods IMO although ill probably end up running one pillar pod when I get my AFR gauge.

As above moved the headunit down below and installed a defi din gauge unit in the din slot. Doesnt look clutered and look almost oem.

Defi Guages are awesome, The ones i'm getting are digital, but will do the job!!

If i had the old style cupholders that is what i would do, however i have the new one so only option really is to put the guages in the pocket not the stereo, Think ill just go with the mini amp and ipod lead!
