Got a response from Paypal regarding my escalation of the dispute.

I am able to get a full refund for my baseplate, however I will only get it if I return my package to Hong Kong, well packaged so that it does not get further damaged and on a trackable system.

I imagine it will be around £50 for me to return this.
 
That's ridiculous, why should you have to repackage it better than the original packaging?! It's not really sell-able anyway!

What are you going to do?

Vendor status should require either 25 positive feedbacks on their reputation thread or verification that they have a proper company and website or a good reputation for selling on another forum.
 
I know its ridiculous that i have to send a "damaged" item back, in better packing conditions than i received it.

Seems a bit stupid that i have to pay money to send it back in order for a refund, id imagine recorded delivery to Hong Kong wont be cheap, so need to spend money to get my £90 back!

Still to hear from HIM520 yet which is a bit poor!

im sure you have to request the number on the site then they give you code to put in to get to talk to somebody.

well thats what i did few months back when sorting a dispute etc.

Spoke to paypal today and they told me the same as everyone else. There is a small chance that the claim can be opened if there is a large amount of claims against the seller.

They also told me to email the aupviolations department explaining what's happened so I have done.

Can't see anything coming of this though so that's 190 quid don't the shitter.

Can you inform us, when or if you intend to give us our money back for the baseplate you sent me, which is poorly made.

It does not fit the car as it is bent and cracked…I have tried it against the car and if I screw it down tight it will crack.

has anyone else got their spoiler or heard anything from him yet? does it mean only me, Championship White,robbieD and RD55 DUN received our damage spoiler??
 
Knew this dude was full of **** from the very start, hate people like that...
 
Was he in japan? Could he be having trouble with this tsunami stuff? Just a thought.
 
I dont know where he is located, i know its Hong Kong & Birmingham, but i dont know where HIM is from.

Anyway, paypal have decided my dispute, and because i told them i am not paying £170 for recorded quick deleivery to Hong Kong, then they have ruled in favour of the seller, so im stuffed for my money. Thanks Paypal.
