Group Buy - 20 x EK9 Carbon Spoiler

Maybe the rest were damaged beyond repair, if all of those which arrived were slightly cracked then the others could've been a lot worse?

Nope, nothing.

Nothing again. Did he not give out a contact telephone number? Remember him doing so but can't find it.

All the spoiler has sent can you please pm me you address to me so i can find out y yours havent appear?

As the spoiler was in good condition before the DHL collect and it was damage due in the post.
As i was read the terms in the insurance protect on the parcel2go.
Because it is damage cost by the counite so you can claim the damage refuund with your tracking number. And the claim has to start from the reviecer first then i will proof the details soon as they have email me for futher information.
Regards

In Parcel2go's Terms it says it doesn't take responsibility for any car body panels or fiber glass items and if it's not inside a double walled box it won't usually be covered.

I just packaged up a spoiler in a layer of bubble-wrap then cardboard and then inside a large box. This is how they should be wrapped at least to have any hope of arriving in 'as new' condition.

havnt checked this thread in a while...id say the seller brought a load of damaged **** parts and sent them out when people started getting irate on here! either way hes a ****ing wanker and i wouldnt piss on a scammer if he was on fire!

Him,

As stated in the Parcel2go terms, they do not accept damage to car body items which are poorly wrapped…which is clearly evident in this case.

With regards to the Paypal dispute it is still active and can still be escalated. Can you please inform me either by PM or responding on this thread as to what you are going to do. I would like a refund for my item, as to be honest I will probably not fit it onto the car as its bent like a banana and cracked. The item which you have sold has not been made fit for purpose, and has been mis-sold to me. Even if my item arrived without the crack, it is still bent, surely this is a manufacturing fault? I would like a respond by lunch time today, with funds re-paid into my paypal account please, and hopefully this dosent go further with paypal.

Thanks.

This is doing my head in. Its still not here and having to go across the street to collect parcels from a neighbour a second ago only to find out none of them were the spoiler has just pissed me right off.

Refund please. This is just ridiculous.

Have you raised a dispute on Paypal and had response from Him520?

I have put up my last warning on paypal, email to Him520 and on this thread.

Im gonna be escalating my paypal claim and let paypal decide the outcome, hopefully I can get my money back.

This has got beyond ridiculous now! If I were you guys I'd be wanting my money back!! Hope it all gets sorted out one way or another

I tried but it said i was out of the 45 day dispute period :( Suppose ive just got to hope for the best.

I think a few members phoned paypal and managed to raise a dispute because of the number of issues.

Even tho your outside the 45 days, the dispute still gets logged the message you get after is just automated.

It's well worthing giving them a ring tho just for your piece of mind and to take it further if you so wish.

Ok small update on the repair of the base plate.

I've had a go at repairing the 2 cracks with some Epoxy Resin that can be polished to a gloss.

I've proberly put far too much on here but I've not used this stuff before so I did put a fair amount on there just to be sure.

Now the resin is dry it feels really solid and seems to of done the job very well just needs a good rub down to make it look a lot better than it does now!

Its also dryed to a very dark grey ish colour which seems to mimmich the colour of carbon fibre nicely. Will be interesting to see how it looks once finished.

I will sand it down with some Wet&Dry going through the different grit levels to get a great finish. (Hopefully) :nerv:

Will update in the next couple of days once i've actually bought some sand paper! :))
