Just wanted to see how lads on this forum done it. not sure which bits to leave or just get rid of the whole lot. for example dnt know shud i leave the interior material from the roof or get rid of that as well. never done it b4 so was lookin for a bit of help:nice:

I reckon to be different, strip everything (I wouldn't take out the headlining but that's personal preference) then use some thin black material to carpet off all the bare metal floors.

Then get the dash flocked to match. :nice:

Here's some of mine, its not quite complete yet though! I'm wishing I got the dash flocked aswell!

Why do you want to strip it other than not using the back seats? If thats the only reason i can't see the point. I think you'll find there is more road noise and if/when you sell the car pretty sure most potential buyers would want rear seats. I know i would.

Just my thoughs on it thats all....Good luck though.

the main reason is that i wanna get rid of all the extra weight:)) fit a nice xbar to make the chasis a bit more rigid and head with my mates to the ring during my summer holidays next year. i intend to keep my seats and all the interior parts in my backyard jdm shed:D with the rest of oem parts i have from my last 3 civics

I was going to fully strip the rear, but when I felt the weight of the plastics I didn't think there was any point, they weigh next to nothing and hide all the ugly bits in the rear so I just took out the rear bench and sprayed the floor Championship White ready for harnesses and fixed bucket seats.

Also, for future reference, it's spelt 'the' not 'd'.

I prefer the whole lot stripped and fresh paint on it! The white EK that was in banzai with the black roof and hold it stickers would be good inspiration if you can find it! Im sure the guy will be on here the 9 was a clinker!

When it's back together and you're in Wilts you'll have to give me a heads up if it's ok to pop over and have a nose! :nice:
