Front Camber Kit.

Just got my SPC's last week, very impressed with the quality and the adjustment nut is a great design.

i have the buddy club set and they've been good...i guess i dont really know how to judge a camber kit...

Hi there, i'm finding it hard to locate their website, does anyone have Import auto performance website link?

Tried searching for it, and it brought up about 50, and can't find the spc kit on any of them.

Yeah I'd be up for a group buy, I'm getting myself some PIC coilovers and only wanna pay out once, so I'll suffer the cost for the aluminium versions.

Anyone else interested in a group buy?

I was on hondateck reading some reviews and they all rate spc and a couple of other makes. I pm'd a couple of chaps and they said they're good as a street kit and possible track, but the spc's are built for they track and have 1 big locking nut, rather than 4 little screws. Buddy clubs will be fine for the track but i'd rather pay out once and do the job right the first time, seen as my gf has her own car now so i can start prepping it for the track.

Here is the different -

Buddyclub and Skunk are both basically the same design, using Allen key bolt and small ball joint. The allen key bolt normally get seized up or round up after a few adjustment and also the ball joint is small and only hold by one springs.

Hardrace one use size 14 nuts on the top and have a wider track so you can get more camber from it and you can adjust as many time as you want.

Also Hardrace comes with extra large ball joint with 2 heavy duty clip to hold on to the ball joint with high temperature grease in them. Hardrace is also the only kits thats comes with the top bushes and bracket with uprated hardrace fitted already fitted inside. Non of the others on the market have as high quality finish like the hardrace products. We have been using this Camber kit on our race car for whole season and have done the alignment setup more than 20 times a season without any problem.

For only £10-20 more you can save yourself alot of money in a long run with hardrace products. They are the same kit they used in Amecian Touring car.

( Dixcelbrake you sound like you are on commision for hard race LOL. )

I just orderd a set of buddy club ones they seem to be good quality on all of there other products. Once i get them in ill let you know how good i think they are.

When it comes to the allan keys they will only round if you dont use your tools correctly unless they are rusted. and if you realy dislike allan keys just bye nuts and bolts of the correct therd and they should do the same job As to getting seized up after a few adjustment before you fit them just put a small taste of copper grease on the therds and you wont have that problem.

Skunk 2 and Buddy Club camber kits probably do fine... and the Hard Race do look that bit better tho like mentioned u can only replace the allen keys for tougher same thread bolts.

tho iam up for 1 big locking nut on the SPC's... they are quality and seems already 3 of us interested on a group buy! i hve another m8 also intersted so shall we look into it?

i have to say the one big nut sounds the job. SPC's do seem to be the ones to have. Just the cost is a bit much hope you boys get a good deal on the group bye .
let me know what you think of them if you get them

buddyclub p1 mate i absoultely cant fault em, i have em on my EG and theyr rock solid and a teeny tiny bit lighter then stock :)

you wont see a big increase bud !! most people who dont do many track days etc buy the front camber kits to stop inside tyre wear when running lowered suspension.

thats why i got the skunk2 kit and has saved me $$$ on tyres over the years :))
not too many places local to you also who will even set it up "properly"!

i set mine on parents flat garage floor by "eye" and got the camber readings
better matched than few garages
think im now sitting around -1.0 degree

guy near saintfield that preps rally cars will be able to do good job if you have any probs bud.
goodluck

are they fitting the kit? best fitting the kit yourself...adjust camber by eye
on good flat surface then take it for wheel alignment and the printout for camber will tell you how far if any the two sides differ :)
if not too far out then just leave it.
done a skunk2 kit for friend on ek4 recently in my drive,he got alignment done and they said the camber readings where spot on :)
most garages wont even touch the camber kit as most cars need to have wheel jacked up to adjust them, they are plain lazy or stupid in most cases!

yea armstrong beetie sorted gf`s punture for no charge recently! seem dead on.
goodluck with it !

I still havent even installed mines. Haha, might as well wait till i get new tires.

yea ill be fiting the kit my self just the set up i want them to do. Might try to set it up myself i done the rear ones by eye cant be that hard just want it to be spot on
