For sale section ( too many sticky's )


Easy fix...

Private For Sale section, Vendor For Sale Section, Breaking Car section ?

Or....sticter rules regarding number of for sale threads allowed per user, and users bumping threads regularly (more than once per day/2 days).

Maybe a moderator specifically for the For Sale section? IJwhiteman does a good job, as I'm sure others do, but they can't be on here all the time!
 
To be honest, I have to agree. It's a clutter now. But we already have a few vendor forums, so extra would make that more of a clutter. And of course we need to consult the people paying for the stickies.

I'm thinking of making the Vendor Market Place open for topics, the stickies we have now in the FS section.

Just to shed some light on this, i have brought up this issue with mods/admin before and the outcome is that we will have to wait until the sticky thread vendor fee expires as they have paid for the right to advertise there so once that has expires then we can look at all options available :nice:

Understand about the stickies but what about vendors sticking to posing topics in the vendors section ? I thought that's what the vendor section is for. Would tidy up the for sale thread having only private sales.
Are vendors allowed to post as many threads in the for sale thread despite for sale rules stating three threads maximum ?
 
Since today there is a limit :D Became a mess last days so we took care of that.

We really want to do something about the mess in FS and we will, BUT we have to wait till the stickies expire since vendors have paid for it.
