Facelift vs Pre-Facelift


i like the both but depends on the colour! my mate has a preface silver and it looks awsome but if in black i would go facelift! and cw wise either or! but the facelift is good is good for the bigger grill and lights
 
i want a facelift :( i like the clear headlights and the 2 side vents on the front bumper, my pref looks too plain
 
ok guys, I have a 97 ek9. Thinking of changing the front end to the facelift model but I'm still confused. It's in CW colour. I like the small holes of the facelift bumper of the fog lights but the prefacelift bumper imo has a nicer/bigger grill. The interior of the prefacelift and rear lights of the facelift looks nice too.
 
I prefer pre facelift on the outside, seems to look slightly more aggressive. Initially I was unsure but now it's a definite for the pre-facelift. I do agree that the rear lights are much better on facelifted cars - I actually fitted a set of facelift rears to my 97 EK9.

Interior wise I'd probably go facelift as well.
 
I will say just that prefacelift model has a unique outside look beside of the facelift model that has just the same look as the facelift EK4 models... so all we agree prefacelift look and facelift rear lights and facelift interior huh? ;)

I dont agree at all

I like facelift exterior better, clear rears and front headlights, interior are just a bonus.

This topic is a bit pointless as its all personal preference
 
Amber rear lights of the pre facelift are cooler
Pre facelift looks TOUGH from the front
Interior you don't have a mahoosive double din gap on the pre facelift

My opinion may be slightly byest however :p
 
I prefer the pre facelift apart from the headlights. If you could somehow run facelift lenses on the pre facelift housings that would be perfect.
 
gota be the pre facelift for me i like the big wide front grill and the front splitter luks bit meaner the face lift dont quite have the angry look the pre does but if i get another i wouldnt mind which 1 i coz gaz's 1 grone on me so much its a minter
 
Pre facelift is unique style(front end) nothing like it but the facelift seems newer I'd go facelift but if I found one I fell in love with wouldn't matter if it was either an ek9 is an ek9 and would be happy I I had either

I agree totally!
 
Facelift all the way, looks more modern and I also love the bumper, and the lights.
 
I would say facelift, much prefer the front bumper and the lights
