EK9 TURBO BUILD 423 BHP

Making my own clutch line due to clearance issues.

Now just got to wait for the pipe to turn up and the side clip fitting

Looks the part mate.
All going well?

This build looks great dude, very nice work indeed and nice to see it moving quickly.

pardon me for being pedantic, but is the standard inlet manifold not going to let you down a little bit with regards to power ?

not that i have experience with Turbo conversions etc, but I would have thought the standard inlet manifold is a bit restrictive considering the large turbo, large intercooler pipework and large exhaust.

as i say i'm merely just asking i have no knowledge of this myself :) just wandered if the standard inlet mani is up to the job when aiming for 500 Hp i would have assumed it would be a weak link in such a strong build :)

could always chop into the top and smooth out the runners a bit, a few members have done this before, then weld it up and sand it down, bit of paint and jobs a good'un :) i'm sure its a pretty precise science i make it sound like a 2 minute job haha.

If money was endless of course a different inlet will be an advantage but for now it will do and will see how it does on the dyno and set up ect. Stock Ek9 inlets are good compared to a stock c4 one. It's like everything. Where do you stop. You can't, there's always something that could be better. So many things running through my head I want to buy haha

No no i totally understand that, just you kinda mention if money was endless... doesn't seem like you're short of it with this build ! :p thats why i mentioned cutting it up and smoothing it out yourself. But as you say im sure the dyno figures will let you know what's going on. i didn't mean any offence dude :nice:

I know exactly what you mean. It's insane how much you could actually spend on a build like this with unlimited cash supplies. Looking well though mate, Hope to see it one day when it's finished.

Wow! Can't wait to see this! Keep up the good work!

Well done !! Would love to hear her bark ! Also would you not need more crank case pressure released from valve cover? Specially with 400+ BHP hope it goes well tomorrow and you happy with your hard work
