Hi guys I drive an Ej9
Next mod I'm looking to is Ek9 suspension on 16's

Few Questions : How much lower is Ek9 (standard) suspension than Ej9/ek4?
How much better is the handling ?
Has anyone got photos of an ek9 on 16's

Thanks ViTO

The EK9 suspension is a great upgrade from EK4, you will definitely notice an improvement in handling!

As for ride height, as you can see, it's not exactly slammed on stock springs. But that's because it is designed to handle well, not to look good.

Not much lower at all. -15mm/-20mm at the most!
EK9 suspension is much much better than VTi and EJ9

Yeah that civic with 16" wheels is defiantly lowered I had a set of 16" on mine for awhile and was alot higher than that

Thanks for the Help Guys
I think I will get a set and probably later put on new springs to lower it
I like the standard stance as it wont scrape a lot of speedbumps around here

Spoon springs lower the ride height slightly I believe, and still perform well!

EK9 suspension is a great upgrade compared to EJ/EK4 suspension. Check the spring rates on goolge or other forums to see the difference. Think the EK9 springs are almost twice as stiff as EJ9 springs.

Ride height is about 10mm lower than EK4, and the EK9 in the pic above is definately lowered.

Im running on 16s (45 profile tyre) with EK9 suspension, and there is about a 60mm gap between the top of the tyre and wheel arch.

Performance and comfort wise, a set of used EK9 standard suspension is the best you could get on a budget. Lowering will not be too low than standard EJ9 though.

Whatever you do, don't buy brand new low quality suspension.
