I have just moved to a EK9 after just over 3 years of UKDM dc2 ownership...
EVO mag has claimed on numerous occasions that the dc2 is the best handling FWD ever.
When it comes to my teg,i loved it (once i learnt to drive it properly).I took me on quite a few memorable drives over the years, including chasing down/being held up by Ep3's.The dc2 took me over some really good roads in the uk,and also many many motorway miles. For the first 5 months of me working for honda in swindon, 2 weeks out of three i would commute from swindon to grangemouth (a nice 760 mile round trip) and the teg dealt with it with no problems. But those are the most mind numbing miles i have ever driven, get the teg out on the twisties, and it never failed to amaze me,i always let go before the car even hinted to..
My only regret, was never putting her on track...
i have only had my EK9 for less than a month,so i am still learning the car (still getting used to when to shift,as when i change up i drop out of tec
) but that will come with ownership and time in the car.(used to the dc2 gearing)
On the daily commute, the EK9 does seem more comfortable, but for out and out twisty stuff,i have still to learn the Ek limits, but i am not regreting the change
