Hi guys, im new here and reali in a dilema about what to get as my next car.
I curntly have a civic sport and looking to get either an EK9 R or an Integra DC2.

Please hellp me here lol. Any coments would be amazing.

Cheers.

well i love them both...i was plannin on goin for a dc2 but ended up goin w da ek cuz it was an oppertunity i couldnt pass up. its which ever u perfer really. u can do about da same to both motor wise as well performance wise. i guess it depends on which body style u like more. gl on da decision...both r great. either way ur goin home w a winner

as said both class motors . toss a coin ? loved my old 98 spec but always liked the ek9 . owned a teg then got a nine. the choice is yours

I'd say teg.. Is it a DC2R ur looking at?

I had a JDM ITR 98 spec... Best car i've ever owned... :nice:

But the 9's are a top class car, don't think you can go wrong either way...

Really nice dilemna to have when you think about it!!! :D

It all depends of what you want, I prefer the ek9 look over the dc2.

It depends, after all I've read the EK9 has got the edge on handling, the Teg on power. If you want both, buy an EK9 and B18c it.

Both good in there own ways ;)

Test drive both and decide, they both have a differant drive aswell :)

I have just moved to a EK9 after just over 3 years of UKDM dc2 ownership...

EVO mag has claimed on numerous occasions that the dc2 is the best handling FWD ever.

When it comes to my teg,i loved it (once i learnt to drive it properly).I took me on quite a few memorable drives over the years, including chasing down/being held up by Ep3's.The dc2 took me over some really good roads in the uk,and also many many motorway miles. For the first 5 months of me working for honda in swindon, 2 weeks out of three i would commute from swindon to grangemouth (a nice 760 mile round trip) and the teg dealt with it with no problems. But those are the most mind numbing miles i have ever driven, get the teg out on the twisties, and it never failed to amaze me,i always let go before the car even hinted to..

My only regret, was never putting her on track...

i have only had my EK9 for less than a month,so i am still learning the car (still getting used to when to shift,as when i change up i drop out of tec :angry2::angry2:) but that will come with ownership and time in the car.(used to the dc2 gearing)

On the daily commute, the EK9 does seem more comfortable, but for out and out twisty stuff,i have still to learn the Ek limits, but i am not regreting the change

HTH

i dont have an ek9 but it all depends on what your looking for. both are great from what i read etc..i wish US got JDM spec cars haha i wana experience them aswell

I own both at the time (us ITR, jdm CTR) My ctr is more in stock form than the itr, but it just seems to be a better all around caR. I will say that the itr will make you smile a bit more.

had both, looks ek9, overall performance integra type R. so get an ek9 and do a b18c swap :)

Difference between EK9 and DC2 not, therefore, is a matter of taste, something like that and take it.
Sorry for a bad english)))

Hey there,

Ek for looks and TEG for power
Drop a B18c in a ek and ur laughing
Thats what i've got
You'll beat just aboot anything including a 9 lol
But i'm biast too tho never drove a DC2
