#EK9 Insurance Help Needed.


Hi I'm from leiester too, i'm 24 and can't get insruance for my EK9 anywhere! most of the places say i have to 25 and over! I managed to get a motortrade policy tho which lets me drive my 9 and also anything other car! =)

I found it more expensive near evington then hamilton side, probs higher crime rate in evington!

My traders policy costs me £1300!

Haha, dont make me laugh mate, EUI is a circus mate, iv never seen or heard of such a poor set up. I insured with them back in the day and never have i experienced customer service like it.

Biggest bunch of mugs out there, u dont work for them do by any chance do you....?

I was expressing my experience IN MY OWN OPINION! You can insure your car with whoever you want but dont come on here throwing your barbies out the pram when it all goes tits up:clap:
 
iv been with admiral for the past 3 years and they have been fine sorted me out when some old codger reversed into me, no problems. iv got a quote for a civic vtec r which it is, not many insurance companies will have "ek9" listed under honda civic.

it was in the region of £700, i'm 24 in two months, 5 yrs ncb, 1 accident+ sp30,

haha, you dont like them much then, no i dont work for them:nono: been insured with them a twice before with no problems, the customer sevrice was annoying in a way that they tried to be over helpfull trying to sell me crap i dont want, wont be staying with them anyway as had a better quote now, so you dont need to worry about the barbies :p

I can now full agree with them on this! have sorted my insurance out through these guys! really happy with the service and the price is great!
well worth getting a quote from them!
 
Im with elephant and i have been for 5 years (2 of which on my ek9) before i parted with my policy money i rang up to confirm and they have got the ek9 on the system it's on as ''import civic vtec R'' and iv'e checked it's the 1.6 type r ,so go figure ???????? the ''VTI-R'' is in fact the jdm civic SIR

Just quoted 278 quid with protected NCB, me and the Mrs with Elephant for my EK9 doing 10000miles a year!!:nice::nice:

I cant even get insured. 20 years old.
 
dont get why mate! im gettin good qoutes at 20! and had VTI at 19 with only 1 yrs no claims, and that wasnt bad either
 
been on the phone to both elephant and bell and they say they dont insure this car
 
didnt hav a reg number to give them anyone try to get a quote from them with a reg number
 
just phoned bell they said they dont know if they insure it vtec r is group 15 i thought ek9 was group 20 :angry2:

how old are you and is the car standard.. with insurance approved alarm??
