I wondered what parts on the EK9 are lightweight compared to a EK4 SiR.
Something I found out on the list below. Maybe you can tell me more of your knowledge
- No sound deadending tar (I didnt have any on my EK9 so correct me if Im wrong!)
- No tailgate breake light (-192g + wiring)
- No rear wiper and washer incl. pump, motor, hoses, pipes and clips (-1280g)
- No cargo bay light (-24g + wiring)
- No parcel shelf (-3400g)
- No 3d "Civic" and "SiR" badge on the tail gate (-2g)
- No rear head rests (-1250g)
- Lightweight starter battery (no longer available)
- Lightweight shift linkage (-240g)
- Lightweight exhaust valve springs (2 EK9/DC2-R ex. valve springs are 17g, 1 single EK4 ex. valve spring is 40g) (-184g)
- Lightweight exhaust manifold (-1100g)
- Lightweight exhaust pipe A (-950g)
- Lightweight catalytic converter (-900g)
- Lightweight rims (-400g each)
- Lightweight rear disc break rotor (-80g each)
