>>ek9 daily road/track build up from the start<<

Cheers mate, I will have another update by the end of the week or early next week hopefully....Feels 2.5" stainless cat-back system:nerv:

I will be selling the spoon n1 axle back and my oem b-pipe when I get it off:nice:

Nice Updates :) Tidy half Cage aswell!! :D

Feels 2.5 System will be awesome!

Quick question for you.

What Bilstein shocks did you have? and where did you get them from? Where they the B8's, basically the inverted monotube shortend pistons.
You got the product code for them?

Cheers
Steve

No my Billstein shocks were the B6 version and I don't think that Billstein have made B8 shocks for the EK civic as far as I'm aware.

Should have updates soon enough:) Decided to keep the spoon n1 exhaust and use a bung for everyday driving as it did get alot louder after stripping the car, also I love the sound of the n1 on vtec, its light, very well made and looks very neat imo

Currently waiting on a Mugen baffled sump from Togue and my passenger Recaro Pole position (which has been held up by Recaro again!:angry2:)
I also have a Skunk2 Billet front cam seal to fit this week as my oem seal has a tiny weap of oil, very common as the oem cap is plastic and deforms over time.

Fitted a pair of 225/45/15 dunlop moulded slicks (these look wide on a 15" rim!) to the front track rims so I have a full set ready for the start of the trackdays this year

Thanks for all the comments!

Just a few pics showing a bit of prep I did behind the back bumper well before the winter there, I also did the rear arch lips with white stone chip guard and then Champ white over it just to protect them and they are completely rust free :D

I gave the Spoon n1 a quick polish before I put it back on the car

I will have to get a few proper pics of the car when I get the passenger fixed seat

nice updates!!!
thats a good job with the protection at the rear mate.

the crappy weather and salt got at mine and im left with a 3mm wide bubble
on an arch :angry2:

Thanks mate, get it treated asap and it shouldn't come back!

I try to do everything I can to avoid any rust starting, when I wash the car I have a separate sponge to clean underneath the rear arch lips (dirt traps moisture)

I also try to give the rear arch lips a coat of car wax

New Wheels! Fancied something different from the bronze 15s so I went for CW 16". Hard to keep clean but white on white always works well

Also finally got my passenger fixed Recaro after another long wait from when I ordered it, just need to get the seatrail for it

Mugen Baffled sump still on its way from Japan and its taking so long (ordered it before christmas!) seems like everything I order atm takes months to arrive:angry:

I will get some good pics of the car when I fit the seat

Loving this build! Great parts with a purpose. Makes me want to convert mine but then my son would have no place to sit. Oh well at least he's ready with his recaro child seat !
