EJ6 Build in Florida


another updated- head was sent to machine shop for port and polish also 3 angle valve job and port matching everything:nice::nice::nice:.... they are also putting in my Supertech valvetrain and it will go back to the mechanic to finish it off...

thanks currently in the middle of a swap and just getting all bits ready:nerv::nerv:.. and im not really a FAN of spending money:nono: but i like to spoil myself lol .. what can i say i like nice things lol .. :nice:

THANKS lol :thanks:.. ive been working on it ever since i got it ... as for the b16 .. the head was out to PnP and i should be picking it up tomorrow:nerv: ... my mechanic has the block already and will be working on that.. so far so good although the machine shop took a little longer than expected..kinda had me nervous but he has a good rep...all in all i think some time around the middle to the end of this month .. i have a few more parts im thinking of adding to the spec sheet lol .. just havent got to much time to work on it since ive been working .. i was just working on some little wire tucking .. well i just re-routed some wires lol and i installed the new HIDS. just finished the clear case for my ecu and also just finished cutting up the headlight that im turning into a ram air :nerv::nerv: cant wait to see the results of that bad boy ..

o yea .. my friend just traded me his enkei RP-02s for some rims i had laying around and a alot of extra parts i had... also gunna get his suspension as im helping him with other things on this car and he will be upgrading his suspension... i dont think the rims are going on the car as i like my slips but my girl will be buying her ej8 coupe soon :nice:
so she might be getting his suspension and rims

Great car alot of hard work been put in !

Thanks .. I'm alread excited about the car but there's still lots to do .. Just picked up piston rings and rod bearings yesterday .. Gunna pick up the cam belt later today ..

Yes lot of hard work lol most of it done by me and my brother the mechanic is only doing my internals after that its all up to me lol ..

Not sure why everyone wants to come to the US for it sucks ass ... Well I guess just living here sucks ass lol .. I would love to be ANYWHERE except the US .. We get the s*** end of the stick when it comes to cars specially hondas ... Civic cx, dx :angry2: stupid cars .. Lol wish we had the true type R's lol its not that bad here though .. Just a new house would be nice

so sometime in between the build my girlfriend bought me CTR replica lights alot better then the diy i had on there

single cam was later opened and turns out spun 2 or 3 rod bearings ..ive always kept up with the oiling motor had over 200k so maybe it just seen its days.. .... no worries this will not be happening with the new motor:nice: hopefully lol

i got right to work with the heat wrap once the headers came in and installed them shortly after.. i must say for knock offs they are pretty convincing lol and fitment was perfect...

Nice build man! Some nice parts you have added! Looking at the last photo i think some spoon carbon mirrors would really set it off! Just my opinion!

thanks i was thinking about looking into these ... well to be honest there were a set of knock offs that were complete carbon from the base to the mirror housing .. and i was thinking of getting these and leaving the base carbon and painting the housing ...ill have to photoshop a pic for you unless your imagination is as good as mine hehe:D

also another thing on my mind cant decide how dark i wanna go though as i had my cargo cover wrapped in red suede for a reason lol ... we shall see sooner or later lol :nice:

Very nice Elijah ! ! I love the black block and head with the white rocker cover... It looks sick ! The header looks pretty decent to for a knock off.

thanks i had a image of opening my hood and seeing nothing but i white rocker cover and everything else black lol looks good in my head idk about anyone elses lol .. the header are TDM some company i found on ebay paid a cheap price for them too ...

what i really like about the car is that you can feel it wants to go .. like its free ... i always felt like i was fighting that poor single cam to move lol ...
 
i think from here on ill be looking into some carbon fiber parts and maybe some better seats... also would like to get a ek9 wing ... just cant figure out if i want it carbon or not .... i saw the one that Gav has on his and it looks good on a white hatch ... but i just dont know ... i was also thinking about getting just the carbon base and having a normal ek9 wing .. idk we shall see

Lol, i get those pictures in my head to. I don't think one has ever worked out the way i pictured it though.I bet it feels a lot more powerfull, juast wait until you get it tuned properly :nice:

the engine bay is a work in progress .. hopefully im pleased once its done ... and as for the power ... its there .... compared to the single cam ... cant wait to tune it and break it in so i can compare to other b series ...:nerv::nerv::nerv:
