Hi, everyone I've finally decided to make a build thread. to start my names Elijah, im from the states. Florida to be exact. im currently driving a 96 EJ6.

So i Picked her up around oct. 09 from my brothers close friend. at the time it had around 170K miles on the clock . no worries honda last forever .. after all that is why we love them right? i mean besides the fact that they a real piece of art and a treat to the eye. i am also planning on swapping so didnt care to much about this motor.

before i purchased the car the came with:
ebay coilovers
13" white alloys
CF duckbill
Facelift
Ebay exhaust system and headers
mock CW paintjob. id say its decent and could ALMOST pass for CW.
and other cheapy bits

here are some photos:

I had some parts laying around from my previous EJ8(due to a F*($&ING scion TC ramming into the rear driver quarter, it was totaled.):

DC2 Front seats
Si cluster
Shift Knob
Radio-speakers-system.

The first few purchases i made where:
New USDM steering wheel, as old one was indescribable
i was also able to source a rear disk conversion from a DC
Power door conversion
type r shift boot
cheapy ebay RED H's
rear cargo cover

SORRY FOR THE MAJOR SH^T PICTURES , THEY WERE TAKEN WITH A PHONE

A few months after i was getting bored and i decided to spend some more money on her:

Tien lowering springs (second hand)
Tokico blues(second hand)
new foglights (originals were cracked)
I HEART JDM oil cap
Removed windshield wipers and fluid tank(my mom complains everyday about it) RAINX is the best invention EVER!!! wipers will be going back on soon though.
Facelift tail lights

and in with the new

as youll notice i tend to buy stupid useless things that nobody would ever notice but i think i have a slight case of OCD.

certain parts:
OEM fog light switch
new Si cluster (LOOKing to fit a SIR cluster in .. or possibly CTR)
rebuilt the front calipers as ther were almost completely shot. one was completely dead and the other was on its way. im really concerned with the safety of myself and others.
cargo cover was wrapped in some red suede material.

during the summer i was able to source some 16" flat black slips. rims were brand new with only one slight scratch. not deep or noticeable at all didn't even reach metal. they came wrapped in brand new tires as well.

at that point in time i had been going to the local garage every 2 weeks because the alignment just was NOT working out and the tires had THE worse camber wear ever due to the dumb ass previous owner.
so i saved a little(well more like alot) and purchased:

brand new tien lowering springs
:bow:Tokico illuminas
:bow:spc front camber arms
and buddy club rear camber arms:nice:

the whole assembly was slapped together with help from my GF. pretty funny asking your GF for a ratchet. she looked at me like i was crazy.:confused:she oves cars though specially hondas .. (she should be getting a EP or maybe a EJ like me .. who knows.) she always complains on me working on the car so she was pretty satisfied when i said she could help

after the assembly of the new suspension and wheels something wasnt right i needed center caps!!!:angry2: so i ordered some from honda and then it was complete:naughty:

about a month or two ago i tilted the duckbill alittle bit. new brake pads. replaced oil pan PREVIOUS owners work once again with the ride height:angry2: a friend from work had drilled and slotted rotors on a car he was selling so i gave him $20 and my old discs for them. also added cold air feed and heat wrapped ebay cheapies.

so this is how she sits so far

so the clutch finally took a dump on me last week and between work and school she was sitting for a few days:angry: ...shes back up and running now after buying a new clutch kit which i was really trying to avoid as i could have spent that money on the b16. :angry2:BUT this week ill be cleaning up the motor and getting everything nice and ready for its new internal goodies. :naughty:ill post more updates when i can. thanks for viewing .

hey guys / girls? im in a bit of a jam ... i cant figure out which to get ... i have the option of either getting BC spec IV cams or spoon n1 back box .. around the same price BC being around $40 more... what would you guys do .. i know if i get the cams ill be that much closer to getting the b16 in but then if i get the spoon back box it will go along GREAT with my spoon reservoir covers and other little spoon bits and since the prices are so close idk what to do .. i just need some suggestions I KNOW at the end of the day its my choice but you know sometimes we tend to let our emotions get involved in this stuff and make stupid choices lol ... i just want to know what you all would do in this situation

Im so excited lol .. Idk why but for some reason spoon is just in the back of my mind evrytime I get in my car lol .. Can't wait to intall it .. Will be doing it next week
