Hi, everyone I've finally decided to make a build thread. to start my names Elijah, im from the states. Florida to be exact. im currently driving a 96 EJ6.
So i Picked her up around oct. 09 from my brothers close friend. at the time it had around 170K miles on the clock . no worries honda last forever .. after all that is why we love them right? i mean besides the fact that they a real piece of art and a treat to the eye. i am also planning on swapping so didnt care to much about this motor.
before i purchased the car the came with:
ebay coilovers
13" white alloys
CF duckbill
Facelift
Ebay exhaust system and headers
mock CW paintjob. id say its decent and could ALMOST pass for CW.
and other cheapy bits
here are some photos:
I had some parts laying around from my previous EJ8(due to a F*($&ING scion TC ramming into the rear driver quarter, it was totaled.):
DC2 Front seats
Si cluster
Shift Knob
Radio-speakers-system.
The first few purchases i made where:
New USDM steering wheel, as old one was indescribable
i was also able to source a rear disk conversion from a DC
Power door conversion
type r shift boot
cheapy ebay RED H's
rear cargo cover
SORRY FOR THE MAJOR SH^T PICTURES , THEY WERE TAKEN WITH A PHONE
A few months after i was getting bored and i decided to spend some more money on her:
Tien lowering springs (second hand)
Tokico blues(second hand)
new foglights (originals were cracked)
I HEART JDM oil cap
Removed windshield wipers and fluid tank(my mom complains everyday about it) RAINX is the best invention EVER!!! wipers will be going back on soon though.
Facelift tail lights
out with the old
and in with the new
as youll notice i tend to buy stupid useless things that nobody would ever notice but i think i have a slight case of OCD.
certain parts:
OEM fog light switch
new Si cluster (LOOKing to fit a SIR cluster in .. or possibly CTR)
rebuilt the front calipers as ther were almost completely shot. one was completely dead and the other was on its way. im really concerned with the safety of myself and others.
cargo cover was wrapped in some red suede material.
