Well here in the UK, there are NOT many people that can offer this level of work, so I thought I'd show ek9.org what my friend can offer. Nothing wrong with that huh? Maybe I posted in the wrong section. Maybe a mod should move it to the appropiate forum.
Just so you know, this aint just any type of exhaust dude, its uses MANDREL BENDS, no CRUSH BENT PIPE bullshit here my friend.

As i said, its just me... I didnt say that there something wrong with it. My post is my opinion and we are in an internet forum so some may leave positive comment, some may not. Since in UK, NOT many can offer that can of work then good for you and your friend.

Again, a lot of muffler shops here in can do that kind of work and cheap and MANDREL BENDS NOT CRUSH BENT... and NO BULLSHITS too..

FYI, our welders here are in demand in other countries for their welding skill. Some go to Canada, Australia, Mid. East, UK & Taiwan (where some of your JDM parts are subcontracted and made).

Im not making any trouble here. I havent even posted negative comments on your friend's work. I even posted that its nice and clean. He did a good job on that. I just said that if its not on an EK9 then im not interested. I was more specific on the car, not your friends work....
 
It's ok JDM 101, i understand your perspective, i too share the same perspective (i just usually keep it private), i am not interested in any car but my own, i never go to meets or car shows because i don't care about other peoples cars, etc... I just care about my own, its snobby i know, but its just how i am. But on the other hand i can always appreciate nice craftsmanship if i stumble across it.
 
@blinx9900 ... Thanks sir. Its nice to hear that somebody feels the same way that i do. Yeah, i appreciate some car makes & nicew craftmanship but usually when i go check parts, i check those items that i can relate to.

@Bon87 ... The post i made sir is not for/about your friend's workmanship. Its is for where the car is installed. Nothing wrong with the car though but i just wasnt into it.

@jdm 101, without being silly about it, you have a rather "to the point" banner in your sig and then use "xhaust" and "cos" in your post. little bit hypocritical if you ask me. also if your not interested in any other cars why are you botherin gto read and post in this thread?

as for me I dont have a stupid banner in my sig so if I want to say "jeeeesus efffffing christ" to you my man then i damn well will. :angry2:

Its a typo error. You can check the first word and the word coz is highly accepted.

How about you both shut up and forget about it, respect the quality of work which is the sole reason this thread is here! The car the exhaust is fitted on is not important, it's to show what good quality, attention to detail and great craftmenship some of our own country's fabricators have to offer. End of.

great car, great exhaust, shame the guy had to make some stupid comment.

i just find that annoying and disrespectful to the thread creator, none of my business really but im fed up of trolls like you.

anyway, water under the bridge.

id be more than happy to have an exhaust made up for one of my cars at that place.

and id trade my honda for an rs500 anyday! :)

The quality in that exhaust is amazing and the RS500 is the dogs bollocks, i'd give my EK9 and then some to have that bad boy. Total weapon!!

lol, i do actually like the car too though :D But yes i know the thread was to show the exhaust, funny how this all got so off track...
 
the rs must be running big power, (find one that isnt lol) to need a pipe of that size.
do you have any idea what kind of db it is?
does the car get used for competition?

i know a chap local to me who has a beautiful example of an rs500 owned it since new and has lost track of how many tens of thousands have been spent on it.
on high boost his is about 550 horses, he uses it mainly for hillclimbs,
never the prettiest of cars but some impressive heritage.
 
We've not heard the exhaust yet, the engine needs some work doing 1st....
I wiill try and get a video clip of it?
