DVLA really own your car: Here's how to change it.

sorry to offend you..

None taken on my part. was enjoying the conversation. Its a very interesting concept. Just slightly misguided with its objectives (in my opinion). But you have enlightened me Topher. :thanks: Have some + rep

Soo.........who is de-registering their Honda First?? :damn2:

basically that is it exactly mate..

what it doesn't mean however, is that you can drive like a nutter and completely disregard your own and others safety... i think that is the message people seem to get when you say no license is needed. its nothing to do with having a problem with authority or anything like that. its just common sense that if i can drive why do i need to pay someone £90 every 6 months to use something i can use anyway and that none of my £90 goes towards.. that to me is insane..

also the reason why everyone is interested in this is because its so true and we all know it is true its only the legal instruments put in place that have been ingrained into us that make us think " hang on a minute i'm gonna get done for this " which is exactly the reason all the legal stuff was invented so that we feel . "oh god if i do this i will get fined" type thing, so we take the easy way out and simply pay out and not question it because its easier.. and we all know the easy way it not always that best way.

lol please don't think i am smart or trying to be smart or anything like that.. i just did a lot of reading over the past 4 years.. :please: join me in doing research also so that others can also understand. may seem like useless pointless information to alot of people. fair enough i am not trying to force it on you.

Don't worry man I didn't see it as a smart-alec response I just saw it as mind stimulating conversation. Yeah it's good looking into it.

Gunna make myself a brew and read this last page when i get home. Very interesting!

Are you a freeman Topher? or have an unregistered car etc??? Or know anyone who is?

look forward to seeing the videos etc and finding out more about this!

yo neil, no i'm not a freeman and my car is registered, i know that may seem hipocritical to some but i believe it takes a lot more research to be a freeman of the land, and also its not something that massively appeals to me.. i know that may sound weird but maybe one day when i'm in my late 50's or someting and have a family and a skill ( carpenter/joiner/mechanic/ something i can work for myself ) i'll sort something out.. a nice amount of land and build a house and feed myself and all that jazz as i think thats pretty cool... not being all hippie but just living for yourself with no help.. but for now there are far to many luxuries to be enjoyed and i'm only 23 lol.

i sound like i'm contradicting myself but sure you understand that an interesting subject that you feel passionate about is not always something you have to see through.... for intance i used to be very interested in war/weapon's/planes/tanks etc etc. lol but i couldn't hurt a fly and could never go to war myself.. unless it was because we were being invaded, but thats different to going to war...... i hope that makes sense :)) i'm far to easy going :p

to your question though:
a very good and very intelligent mate of mine bought a car and didn't register it or tax it or anything like that and sorted out the paperwork got his own plates and that and never got any hassle for months and months until one day he parked it in a private car park of a pub and they clamped all 4 wheels, to which we were anoyyed and could have done something about but TBH we were young ( 20 ) and were not really up for a big battle with legall types and the car was worth hardly anything.... lol so we had fun and stripped it and basically destroyed the engine as best as we could , lol i think i have a video of me somewhere pretending to do a tutorial of how to change you radiator fluid... i look at the camera and then the radiator and then stab it multiple times with a screw driver while my mate laughs his head off.. we also locked the front wheels up by putting it in gear then breaking all the parts and ripping out the linkage's to make it hard for them to move .... the police sat in a busy car all the next day watching the car after that.. so that night we put a sign on each window saying " free to a good home this car is unlocked and if any homeless guys need a home for the night, make yourself at home " " any parts you need for your car please take, as this car is now not owned by anybody and is property of nobody "

also the same chap took out a loan with a very random internet credit card company and took £1500 and then wrote of the debt by sending them a contract stating that he did not owe them anything as they paid him in credit which is fictious. they didn't give him money they simply added 1500 digits to his account.. ( please don't ask me about this as its very complex lol i don't understand it fully and have not fully looked into contracts and that side of things ) but basically to this day he has not heard from them / the police / courts / balliffs or anyone and no-one can now act on it legally as they didn't reply to his contract's and notice's which in common law is known as

" estoppel by acquiescence " which the wikipedia definition is
" The common law doctrine of estoppel by acquiescence is applied when one party gives legal notice to a second party of a fact or claim, and the second party fails to challenge or refute that claim within a reasonable time. The second party is said to have acquiesced to the claim, and is estopped from later challenging it, or making a counterclaim "

which is basically what the council do if you don't reply to their car park tickets they simply buff it up. beacuse to not reply is to go into dishounour.. which is unlawful..

sorry to get carried away and type an essay again lol. may seem a bit sureal the part about getting the credit written off but he really did it and obvisouly i have no reason to lie about it as well it wasn't even me that did it lol but thought you'd like to hear it anyway, i know if i heard it it'd be questioning it but honest to god he did it. still to this day i don't fully understand how, but then its probably beyond my intelligence :nerv:

but yeah basically i've had some fun with it and its good to know things workin real life .. but to delclare myself a freeman i don't think i'm at a stage in my life where this is practical at the moment.. i'm skint, love my car, love my drums/band so it'd be too much.. but i know it is possible if i wanted to and understanding law can't be a bad thing to know.. :)

Brilliant haha

Been watching a few of the police v freeman videos on Youtube...Some of them are pretty funny

Freeman always seems to win, I would love to see a video of the police arresting them and putting them in the back of a van, but no videos of this haha In most of the cases the policeman seems to let them go because they can't be bothered with the hassle and would probably feel embarrassed for arresting someone for going through a red light etc

Its the Act v Law argument that keeps coming up.

Topher have you ever been pulled over by the police? Did you ask them if you were obliged to answer their questions?

I'm looking forward to then next time I get pulled over so I can ask them all these questions haha

What driving offences are against the law and which are not?

Brilliant haha
lol its all about giving something back to the community  *jokes* we just thought i'd be hilarious to find the next day a guy asleep in the back as that would make quality youtube footage..

well i guess the the fact that we have licenses and such means we have signed the contract to say we will obide by all the Rules and regs and acts...

I have been pulled over and i asked the police man if i was obliged to answer his questions and got an answer i was not expecting lol..

" of course not sir, you have done nothing wrong i merely pulled you over because it was late at night and there have been quite a few thefts around the area of nice car's like yours "
to which i replied
" thats great thank you for being honest and thankyou for looking out for the community "
he replied
" no problem sir, i can see you are not a theif of course you are free to go, only thing i will say is your exhaust is blowing... you should take it to the import guy down in the village he deals with the jap car's "

of course my exhuast was not blowing it was just very loud lol and its a UK honda ;) didn't tell him though... but i thought what a nice guy, i wish more were like this.. it proves there are cop's out there that are brilliant people.. they just never get to make it in the papers or the news.. as people would find it boring to watch.. :( sad fact really..

would be quite fun for a cop to tell me that its an order, so i can ask for a bill and watch there face turn to confusion... i wander what would happen in reality.. :nerv:

Thats where we're split in this country though. We've got the PC you've just mentioned, the kind I've dealt with, who just look out for the community.. Pull you over, fine, have a nice chat etc. Then there's PC plod who is just in it for the power, he likes bossing people around and making himself feel like he's got that extra inch on every one else..turns out he's just got a chode though, so he's mainly a very angry person..

Easy to see why so many people hate the police, yet very frustrating knowing that the right guys are out there, doing a f*cking amazing job, one that I couldn't even begin to handle... but are masked by the gigantic t**ts.

As a kid, was a keen BMXer..always got hassle to wear a helmet from the rents, but I was too hardcore for that..so I'd hide it in this guys bush at the top of my street, then collect it on the way home.

One night, i'm collecting said helmet from said bush, when a police officer of the latter kind decides to grip me. Now, he's completely out of uniform, of duty, but this doesn't stop him. He puts me in the car and starts questioning me on a speight of burglaries that have occurred in the area, apparently by someone fitting my description.. on a bike. Posing the question of how I intended to make my get away on a BMX and not a car/van didn't help my cause, nor did explaining my helmet was in the bush and I was getting it.. even pointing out I lived 5 doors down didn't seem to help. Apparently I was reaching into the bush on a recce, ready to come back on the rob later

Eventually he drove me 5 doors down, and went to question my dad..Who proceeded to bollock me for stashing my helmet.

Pointless story..but yet, shows the naivety and stupidity of some of them.

Most Police i've met have been quite abrupt with me. Probably due to the amount of hassle they get on a daily basis. Would love to argue my point with them, but if you pick the wrong policeman you just cause yourself more problems.

SiW.. nah man its a good story not pointless at all dude..

i had a cop stop dead in front of me in my starelt which i nearly hit up the rear of, he then got out waving his arms shouting " wtf do you think you're doing with you fog lights on who the **** do you think you are ".... i literally opened my window about 1 inch got my phone out and told him to calm down otherwise i would start to film him and sue him.. he soon calmed down once i said he had no right to speak to me like that and i was saw my red light was on my camera meaning i was filming him..

i honestly was shook up by it.. its mad to think my fog lights were on and he was absolutely mad about it... i still can't comprehend why he was so so mad about it ... i thought he was gonna hit me and pull me out of the car..
this is why i say the police we are talking about are police men...

the cops that stop us and abuse their power are police officers.. or revenue collection officers, they have no real intention of helping anyone but themselves and meeting their targets.. i guess thats one part that is corrupt..

there should be no targets other than helping people in need.. i can't understand how setting targets can help.. surely if there is a case they should solve it and if there is no case that is a good thing... i really can't see how targets help us or them..

one thing i do know it is for is the T.V and papers.. always quoting crime is on the rise or there is not enough arrests.. crazy really..

on a lighter note i love this comment..

I think of the UK roads as a giant toll road and the government collect this toll yearly. I know this person thinks of his car as 'private property' but he's driving it on government owned roads which, if you don't pay the yearly toll, is trespassing lol

TBH i was the same when i first started getting into this sort of thing.

The only way you will truely know is if you research yourself.. when the truth hits you its like being awoken to a whole new perspective..
Its not about fighting authority or having a problem with authority..its a RIGHT we have and will always have and always have had since the magna carta 1215.. its nothing to do with being a nutter and getting away with things scot free.. If anything you actually accept more responsibility !!!!!

here is a good link. having a read over a cup of tea and it will be very confusing at first but little by little it'll start to make sense..

Deregistration of oneself and ones vehicle. - a Freedom of Information request to Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency - WhatDoTheyKnow

Here is a video starting to explain what it is all about... there are 5 in the series.. its an awful lot to take in but once you start to digest it it makes COMPLETE and utter sense..
Its not a conspriracy theory its not me being scared or having a problem with authority its nothing of the sort. its about a TRUE understanding of law and legal..

ITS ALL ABOUT CONTRACT's

you may think it but you are not a PERSON, you have a PERSON.. this is legal fiction.
when you go to court they act upon your person and the only way they are able to do so, is for you to give consent. because a statute is only given the force of law by the consent of the governed.. this will all make sense after these videos..

Please take the time to watch these videos. it will explain ALOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
a few frined of mine have met John harris and he is such a down to earth guy, its people like him that we need more of in this world..

Just watched those videos.... Very Interesting Topher :nice:

However, I don't really think there is much substance to it. It surely wouldn't hold up in court.

Everybody would be doing it if they could. I'm definitely going to read up more on it though. Interesting  haha

You say everybody would be doing it but that's exactly the point. not many people know and most have been programmed into believing they are inferior to the law. Check this guy throw his own council tax case out of court.

This is me challenging the police.

Moments before I started recording the police were acting really bullish and rude to me over so called "parking restrictions."

The PCSOs blocked off a street I usually park on saying that the spaces were reserved for the local businesses. I told the police that I always had permission to park on the street and they ignored me and started being really rude. They said this street is blocked; END OF!! I asked the PCSOs if they had obtained a council authorisation for the streets to be sectioned off but they said they didn't need one. I asked them under what law is the street restricted? They were again rude and told me to move on. I then told them that I knew the law and that if they wanted me to not park on the street they were actually asking me to co-operate with their requests. Instead they were rude and obnoxious and I gave as good as I got.

I asked to PCSO to let me into the road (cul de sac) for me to turn the car around and then parked in my usual spot anyway. I knew that lawfully they couldn't do anything. That's when a REAL copper came over to my car and opened the passenger door (unlawful entry) without my consent. I asked him if he was allowed to do that by law and he said YES I AM!! I asked him under what law?? He said my law!! That's when I started recording and he knew I had him. He then started to behave more professionally, which he should have anyway. Watch how he shuts my door when I record because he knew he messed up!!

In the end I ended up leaving my car there. They didn't have a leg to stand on. If they had been nice and polite like all public servants should be I would have obliged to their request. Instead because they had that costume on they thought they were above me and ultimately above the law.

There is a video on YouTube that goes some way to explain this called 'money as debt'. Its around 45 minutes long and not the best quality film in the world but does explain some of what you are alluding to.

That's all fair and well. I do not like paying road tax and such. But if we all stopped paying road tax could you imagine the stait of the roads. They are bad enough as it is. I think I will just keep paying and staying legal for now.

i agree with you sir:bow:

this guy has lost it , he must have so much **** of cops :angry2:
