im looking at down strocking a b16 engine to a 1400 is this poosible if so could anybody shed some light on how to do it thanx.

Is this to fit in a 1400cc rally class?

Probably not possible short of full custom internals.

Motor with big rod stroke ratios that can rev high instead of torque monsters.....i wouldn't mind a 11k or 12k rpm B series:naughty:

I would imagine there are far better and less expensive 1.4 options out there than having to get custom pistons and re-sleeving the block to get a custom bore. Also the 1.6 B16b is so competitive out of the box int he 1.6 class, why change the recipe?

Lol this kinds is a reciep for a fail d14 is a good engine too why not use that instead

FFS people it's a valid question and the kind of thing that happens often in proper motorsport, stop making out like the OP is an idiot.

I'm with Kozy on this one, why is everyone posting pointless ****? If you don't know what your talking about, don't post, simples :)

Im sure I have seen a B16b head on a D series some where before just can't remember if it turned out to be a missprint.

A B14B would be mega cool. Super rev's. Have you looked into the Honda city engine's?? Im sure they were big for tuning in jap. little 1300cc with like 160hp.
